Premier Rouge (10Pk)

These are a gem when making wine. They work well in the fermentation process and it does not take away from the flavor of the fruit you are using.

I have been using Red Star Premier Rouge yeast for years now, I get good results with my Zinfandel grapes.

This company always sends yeast dated 2 years later, purchased 9/2025yeast is dated 5/2027.. thank you.

Just what I wanted

After watching numerous videos on small batch wine making, the general consensus is that the kind of yeast you use makes a difference. This yeast is working like a champ. Have not tasted the results yet but it appears to be working very well.

I was curious to see if this could be used for baking bread. I think it turned out just fine. The amount in these packets is less than what you get in the regular ones so I used 1½ packets. The bread rose as expected and tasted good. So, use this for wine making or for bread. Yeast is yeast when it comes right down to it.
