I was looking for just a simple iron that heats and has steam, and is not real large. This one works great and it’s very light.

Nice, light steam iron. Exactly what I expected. Great value for the money.

Not easy to fill. Older model with cover was much better. Just used it for the first time and water went all over the place trying to fill it. Tried a funnel but that didn't work either. Will try the measuring cup next time but that is another thing to have around while ironing. Other than that, the iron worked beautifully.

The BLACK+DECKER Easy Steam Compact Iron is affordable, reliable, and easy to use. Although the cord does not retract, the iron has a large water capacity and is easy to fill. Works perfectly for ironing clothes and even ironing patches onto clothing. It is very affordable and worth the purchase.

i loved this lightweight little iron with a retractable cord. I don't even iron once per week, but somehow the plate on this one got gunked up. I don't know how. i don't use spray starch or anything. Anyway, I tried to clean it and now when I use the steam feature, sometimes a brown stain gets on what I'm ironing. Also the other day, the Auto Clean button on the iron popped off. It wasn't a feature I used (maybe I SHOULD HAVE! lol). Can't get it back on. The iron still works and the steam feature still works, but I take my chances when ironing something light colored. Needless to say, I'm in the market for a new iron.

I iron as few clothes as is possible but sometimes it must be done. I have used it to iron patches on a couple pairs of work pants and to iron a few dress shirts and pants when I couldn't avoid it. As a single guy with zero skills in this department it was easy enough for me to figure out and use. It hasn't broken and I have not burned anything with it so in my opinion it works well.
