Earthy (as expected)
I know that herbal teas are good for me, and I really like the benefits that so many herbal teas provide, so I'm on the never-ending search for one that really pleases the taste buds. Tiger Organics Dandelion Root Tea (100 Biodegradable Teabags) falls somewhat in the middle of love and hate. I do appreciate that they tempered the earthy taste by making this a blend of dandelion roots, rosehips, apple bits, and hibiscus petals, while letting the dandelion still take front place. Personally, I'd be interested in adding a bit more sweetness to see if that would create a new flavor profile. The teabags are biodegradable, with no paper or staples added, and the overall price was reasonable. I'd buy this again.

Best tasting dandelion tea
I’ve tried a couple different dandelion teas and I’ve gotta say that this one is the best tasting. It doesn’t have that nasty “earthy” taste. You can taste the rose hips and apples.

Mellow-tasting organic tea, but hardly dandelion root tea
From the ingredients "Dandelion Roots, Rosehips, Apple Bits, and Hibiscus Petals," I expected this tea to have a more prominent taste, especially since I have tried all of these ingredients individually as teas. While I could see a few bits of dandelion root in the tea bag, I didn't notice much rosehips or hibiscus petals, which might be included in such tiny amounts that they don’t impart much flavor. Upon opening a tea bag to examine the contents, I see darker greenish bits that look like dried leaves, which are not listed among the ingredients. The tea is not bitter when carefully brewed as instructed using hot water at 194-203F short of boiling, but doesn’t taste anything like 100% dandelion root tea. Instead, it tastes more like a light green or white tea, which can get bitter when over-brewed. It is definitely drinkable with a mellow taste and is priced at a fantastic bargain of only $0.09 per bag. However, it hardly qualifies as a dandelion root tea intended for detoxing, given the small amount of dandelion root present. I'm taking off stars because it seems to have omitted to mention a major ingredient that constitutes the majority of the tea base.

Tastes Like Dirt!
Dandelion root tea always has a strong earthy bitter taste but this brand tastes like dirt, not earthy, DIRT.Not sure how they did it but I won't be buying this from them ever again.

Great quality herbal tea
This is a package of 100 biodegradable organic dandelion root herbal tea bags with other ingredients. The ingredients contain dandelion roots, rosehips, apple bits, and hibiscus petals. It has a nice earthy sweet flavor. There are lots of health benefits associated with dandelion tea and you should do some internet research on those benefits. I pour boiling water over the tea bag and let it seep for about 5-7 minutes. I toss in a dab of honey even though the apple bits provide a sweetness. I try to get 2-3 cups from a tea bag and then I toss the used bag in our compost. I like that it's produced in the USA and that it's certified USDA organic. I think the price point for the 100 teabags is reasonable. I am happy with this organic dandelion herbal tea.
