PMRACKS XT250 Rear Luggage Rack (08 - Present) Yamaha

Very nice rack for the XT250. Fitment was great and we use it all the time to strap our bags to it.

Good fit and finish. It doesn’t stick out as much as the handles did and you obviously have to remove them. Not as easy to grab as the handles were. So far I like it. I like the fact you can add panniers at a later time from the same company. Took maybe thirty minutes to install.

The rack itself seems to be well constructed and sturdy. However, after the first time off road, the entire left side lots its bolts from the rack to the frame. I’ll have to get new ones, and this time I’ll probably add thread locker and another nut on the back side. The rack should probably include that to begin with. If I can fix it and make it work, I’ll probably give it a better rating. Because the rack itself seems decent so far.

Easily installed in less than an hour. Uses factory mounting points so no drilling. Sturdy. Looks good. Holds my tail pack without problem

Video instructions on youtube were perfect. It also comes with detailed print instructions, but the video is easier to follow. It is a solid rack and only adds about 1 1/2 inches height to the back of the bike, for those who might already have trouble swinging a leg over the back. It uses a flat plate with various size holes for the center, which creates some small problems. If you want to wrap a strap through the middle anywhere the edges will over time cut your straps, so you can only strap to the side tube. You can connect hooks in the middle if you use bungees. The main inconvenience is that there is no cross tube at the front. This is where you usually anchor a load with straps to prevent it from sliding backwards. There are small holes in the front of the center plate, but that only helps if you are using bungees with hooks. If it had a cross bar at the front it would be perfect IMHO.

Easy to install and looks like a factory fit. Very sturdy and useful. I'm very pleased with this product. Highly recommended!

Good design and easy to install.... but when it arrives with the finish scraped off it kind-of knocks you dick in the dirt. Like others have mentioned, mine came with the finish scraped to bare metal and this was not the fault of poor packing or handling; It was obviously shipped with this damage. With that realization, I say FU to PMRacks.

J'ai commandé ce support car il n'y a pas de perçage et c'est fait spécialement pour un xt 250 .Fit parfaitement très solide et facile à poser.Tout est précis et bien indiqué.Que du bonheur.

This rack is great. Good quality and very durable. Fairly easy install. No drilling required. Highly recommend.

Nice rack and fits well. However you can get a better deal from the manufacturer + I was charged import duties on top.

it feels strong. the paint quality looks like it will last a long time. easy to mount.
