These are great! I have very long hair and I wear long loose curls. This rod works great! I use it overnight, and when I wake up the next morning and brush my hair out, I have the long, loose curls that I like. My granddaughters, who also have long hair, use this product as well. It is easy to use.

I straightened my hair, did as instructed (except I did a side part), slept and woke up to beautiful curls. I live in Florida so my curls later turned to waves due to humidity but it looked amazing regardless. It’s a relief to be able to not have to put heat in my hair and know I can have fresh curls (or curls to waves) every day. I had to adjust the way I sleep but it’s worth it for daily fresh curls. (I am Black btw, only mentioning race because I always wonder if things work for my hair type). Btw it works better when you sleep with a crochet type hair net (not lunch lady hair net). The hair net keeps it together better than a bonnet.

This little set was a great deal for the price, you get to Satin scrunchies, a plastic hair clip, and then the Satin foam roller for your hair, I did have to take one star off because the hair clip broke within the first three days of me owning this, and I made sure to take it out before I went to sleep with the roller in my hair. One thing I should mention, the first couple of times that I tried this out my hair was wet, straight out of the shower, and I woke up with my hair still damp and unable to hold a curl yet so I would definitely recommend blow drying your hair to where it's just barely damp and then put it in the foam roller to sleep in. This is also designed for people with much longer hair, my hair is probably a good 2 in past my shoulders, so medium to longer length hair and there was still about three to four inches on both sides of the roller that my hair could not even reach, I would just kind of fold the sides up and then put the scrunchie on both ends, that seemed to work well. If there was maybe one thing that I would recommend it would be to somehow so a clip into the middle of the roller so it can stay in your hair overnight without having to use a claw clip, as it does tend to slip and slide over the top of your head as you're moving throughout the night, then it kind of pulls on your hair as well. Or maybe throw two extra scrunchies in there so you can secure it more at the top. Either way, great concept and still definitely worth the price which is super affordable!

These heatless curlers work great on my thick curly hair. I do get best results when I first blow dry my hair fairly straight first and then put the curlers in to sleep in. They are easy to use and have held up well! They are comfortable to sleep in too!

Worked well but fell apart quickly.

This hair curler exceeded my expectations, especially for the price point! It took me a few tries to get it down; I first attempted to wrap my dry hair and it didn’t work well (my hair kept slipping out), so the second time I clipped the tube on top of my head tighter and partially blow dried my hair and it worked much better. Once I got everything wrapped nice and snug, it was just protecting my head a little until bed time and sleeping on my back, which is how I sleep normally so no big deal for me. I didn’t put any product in my hair, so we’ll see if the curls last throughout the day, but I am definitely pleased with the volume and curl without. For a lazy girl who doesn’t even blow dry her hair, this thing is a must for days when I want to look at least a little pulled together.

I have tried this curler 12 different times using 4 different methods. I am okay some “trial and error”, but NOTHING I have tried works with this. It slips off of my head no matter how I use it. If I keep the clip in for a more secure fit, it leaves a crimp in my hair and I have to fix that section with a hot tool. It’s massively uncomfortable to sleep in, due to the inflexible rubber interior material and the extensive length of the rod. Because it’s a foot too long, you have to find a way to fold or tuck the extra length at the ends, which just causes it to shift. I’m a side sleeper, so maybe if you ONLY sleep on your back and don’t move, it could work. This is honestly one of the most frustrating things I ever purchased. Yes it’s cheap, but I guess I know why.

Personally, this was too thick of a rod for me. Was not as comfortable as I thought it would be. The satin was really nice and soft, but unfortunately, it was too thick. You could wear this for around the house, but not to bed!
