1.2 joules charger works great.
I bought the 1.2 joules charger. It went together easily, take your time, it all fits. The alarm is handy. I have 3500 feet of polywire hooked up and working. My wire got tangled around some barbed wire and shorted out the charger. As I finished untangling the wire the charger shocked me in a way I'll never forget. I'll shut it off to untangle the next time. It's is very, very powerful and works great for me.

Yup , it works !
Compact design with a great kick . No need to test it on yourself , I already did it for you … it works .Solar attachment to handle is not clear and had to modify it . So far I like the system . Although the off switch is to close to where the wires hookup and will shock you to

Died less than 24 hours of use
Charged this unit Via the power cord for 24 hours. Installed this outside on a T post and officially turned it on (after testing it for a few hours prior) at 9pm Sunday night At 4pm Monday afternoon when I went to go water my large Orchard, walking up to the Energizer to turn it off I noticed the left indicator light was flashing red. I grabbed my Gallagher volt meter and when I tested the unit I wasn't getting any voltage at all. I metered the battery and it was good at 12.90. Grabbed my standard meter and still got not voltage readout. Didnt even get a full 24 hours of usage and its a dead device. I wish I knew how long it wasn't functioning to know if the Pronghorn were deterred or not since they have been treating my over 200 fruit and nut trees as there own personal buffet and have damaged so many key branches and snapping up to 1" tree trunks in half being that there hasn't been any heavy rains since August 2024 and they are in survival mode and don't care what the destroy in the processAt first I chose to do a replacement swap but talking to Amazon Customer care I decided to cancel that order and to just mail this one back.Besides already having a bad experience with the device breaking down Epoify only provides an email for communication which frustrates me to no end. I don't have the time nor the Patience to go back and forth and in this case neither of the 2 email replies I got from them wasn't helpful at all.Think five times before buying one of these products as you could be another unfortunate customer to have to go through all the troubles of dealing with a defective energizer like myself and others.

it’s a dependable unit for small to mid-size fencing needs
I’ve been using this solar fence charger for a small livestock area, and it’s done the job reliably so far.Durability: It’s built to handle the weather. I’ve had it out in rain and sun with no issues.Functionality: Delivers a consistent charge along the fence. It’s strong enough to cover the advertised distance for my setup.Ease of Use: Setup was simple—just connect to the fence and grounding rod, and let the sun do the rest.Comfort: Once installed, it’s pretty much hands-off. Just check it occasionally to make sure it’s getting enough sunlight.Quality: Solid construction, and the solar panel seems efficient. Doesn’t feel cheaply made.Possible Issues: On cloudy days, performance can drop a bit, so make sure it's positioned for maximum sun exposure.

Works great
This has kept the coyotes out of my hard. No visits since day one. Have had it operational for about a month. I installed it on top of my fence with 6” standoffs. You’ll need to buy a grounding rod and a T-post or 4x4 for mounting. T-post was easy. The unit has a specific slot for it that allows you to slide on top. Clip both red wires to the shock wire (also separate purchase), and connect black wire to the grounding rod. Simple!

Shocks great not durable
Not designed to be mounted on t-posts. I mounted it on a 4x4 post with a washer for strength and so it wouldn’t comeOff. Horses Were attracted to the unit and constantly nudged it. There is different charger mounted in the same pasture. The horses ignore and don’t mess with it. The mounting of the solar panel is weak and flimsey. I like the panel for wire connections. I bought two because the price was good and it had 1 joule solar panel
