Tuli's Cheetah, Fitted

My son needed something to help his heel pain during gymnastics in p.e. at school. He's 9 with size 13-1 feet (Clarks E width) and he has the small size. They are snug to get on but they get easier, not sure if he's getting the knack of if they've loosened up a bit. In saying that they don't look like they would become baggy or misshapen in any way. They are the only orthotic my son wears and will put his heel down without prompting. Overall I'd say fiddly, expensive but we'll worth it for the excellent pain relief.

Bought for 11 year old daughter who competes in Acro Gymnastics at national level. Like a lot of pre-teen sportspeople she suffers from the impact of extensive training (12 hrs + per week) on joints and bones. A common symptom is Severs disease - often associated with a rapid growth spurt. As the bones get longer, the muscles and tendons become tighter as they cannot keep up with the bone growth. This causes pain and tenderness at the back of the heel which is made worse with physical activity. The Tuli's Cheetah Heel Protector not only cushions the heel from impact it also elevates it into a position, which is more comfortable for the user. She's been wearing one on her right foot, which is the worse affected during training and saw almost immediate relief. She's also been using Tuli's Heavy Duty Heel Cups in all her shoes. Recommended! This was bought to help relieve pain in my 8 yr old daughters foot (the ball). Originally I bought XS which was hard work to get on but once on fit perfectly. She's a shoe size 13.5. Size S is easier to put on and as a little growing room. It has really helped reduce the pain and my daughter doesn't do gymnastics without it now. She wears it on all pieces. She also wears the extra heel cup in her school shoes. It's easy to wash just throw in the washing machine when needed. Really worth the money!

Really good product. I purchsed these items as over the weekend my 10 year old son was experiencing extreme pain in his heel after playing alot of sport. After reading on the internet it seemed as though he may be experiencing Severe's Disease. Since Sunday he has not been able to put his foot to the ground and even though I bought gel insoles in the meatime, this only gave slight relief. We received this product yesterday and as soon as he put his foot in them the pain disappeared. In my son's words, they are "magic!".

After only 1 month the bottom of the support is beginning to come undone .

I thought the price was slightly on the high side but £22.97 was manageable if it helped my 9 YO. That was until It arrived and it was for one boot, I didn’t see that part in the description so it’s my fault. I would however have bought another item had I realised £46 would be the total, especially as it helping isn’t guaranteed. I have begrudgingly ordered a second boot, as I am halfway there to finding out if it will work. Unfortunately as I will have to wait another week for the second boot to be delivered, I cannot comment on it effectiveness or use it for the event I wanted to. Again, this is my fault, but I wish the item description was clearer. I will update when item has been received and used. Update, returned and cancelled the boots so can’t comment on its effectiveness. I was gently reminded that I need my head read to pay that much. Stretches has worked for us, continuous repetitive feet/ankle stretches on a foam wedge.

I bought this for suspected severs. By accident I ordered the wrong size and wanted to exchange for a larger size. However this product is not exchangeable even though it comes in sealed packaging Works will has helped with the heel pain. But make sure you order the correct size!
