WORKS GREAT
great product

Very comfortable and writes well.
Had to chuckle when I got these, they're like a regular pen just enlarged. Think of a quarterback standing next to an offensive lineman. But the pen is very comfortable, important for my arthritic hands, and the ink flows very smoothly and smudge free.

A little bigger than expected.

Just what I was looking for
I have large hands and prefer a thick pen. These are perfect for me.

Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum I'm a giant and need a huge pen. Found one! Also, an arthritic helper!
Yes, jumbo. Awkward for normal writing but give better grip for arthritic/shaky hands. You get 3 ink refills (1 for each pen) which is really nice because if you find you like these inexpensive (but unique) pens then you're set to go for a little longer. We only requested the black color set in exchange for a Vine review so we can't speak for the other colors but the ink flows nicely and easily out when you are writing. They look like pens a giant might have sitting around their bean stalk because they are bulkier but they're really only about an inch longer than a normal pen. What we've seen is when our family member who has a harder time grasping things, due to arthritis setting in - in the hands especially - the larger size pen like this help and causes less pain because of not having to close the hand so much around how you would to grab and hold a normal skinnier writing utensil. The pen also feels slightly like its weighted at the bottom. That helps with keeping it close to your writing surface since because it's longer it may have wanted to tilt the opposite way. I think these are worth a try if you or someone you love is having a painful or difficult time in grasping a pen.

Could use more refills
A family member had a stroke recently and going through rehab now to relearn motor skills. Therapy includes learning how to write with her non-dominant hand. She's still working on her dexterity and these pens greatly assist with her grip. What appears to be a novelty item you'd see at the dollar store or resort gift shop is actually a very good tool. While the pen barrel may be fat, the ink bead is standard size so not like the writing on page looks like a marker. This set comes with 3 pens and 3 refills. I wish there were 2 refills with each, as I don't imagine you can just pick them up at your local office supply store and I surmise there's not much ink in them. I suppose I could just purchase another set of pens when the time comes, but that just seems wasteful.

Mom loves them!
My mom is almost 92 and has a lot of trouble writing with a normal pen. I've gotten pens similar to these before but sometimes they're hard to find so I like that this comes three to a pack. Being a bigger pen it's easier for her to grip. It gives her confidence to write again. I also like that they come with refills, never seen that before. Very nice!

I prefer a thicker pen when writting. It gives good control and better writting. The set of pens with refills is great value.

These are designed for people with arthritis or for children they great value for money and work really well, I can grip well therefore my writing is much better than it has been in years. I really like these pens.. They may not look fantastic, but it’s the first time I’ve been comfortable writing for a long time thank you

The grip is good but because the pens are so long it's difficult to balance the weight. A waste of money
