I have been taking these for 6 months and my total cholesterol has come down 10 points. They taste very good. Like a chocolate caramel. They are helping me so I would recommend to anyone to try. Better than taking a pill!

I eat these chews daily to help reduce my high LDL cholesterol. My LDL cholesterol level has come down a little in the past year. I wouldn't rely on this alone to reduce cholesterol but it can be part of larger health plan to maintain healthy cholesterol levels. They taste good too.

Had labs performed. My cholesterol dropped 40 points in 5 months. Not much change with exercise as I have a fractured toe. Diet changes and exercise will drop my numbers more. Very pleased!

For years, my cholesterol has been outside the normal suggested limits. My doctor wanted me to take a statin, but I did not want to go that route. I read about Benecol and thought it was worth a try. So I used these chews for one full year. They actually did work to reduce my cholesterol and I could not be happier. I will continue to purchase them. A bonus is that they taste really good, like having a candy treat after my meal.

I have only been using this for a couple weeks. I cannot say if it has any effects on lowering cholesterol. I can update my review in a couple of months on that. A serving is 4 pieces. The pieces are individually wrapped. The chews have a good chocolate taste. It does seem to take a few minutes to get these chewed up completely. Nothing negative there. Just something I have observed. One negative thing is this has a lot of carbs. And the 4 pieces are 90 calories. That is a lot, especially if you are watching weight. To get the amount of plant stanol you need, you would need to do the full serving. These chews are expensive, but if they work, I would rather pay the price for this as to take a statin. I will update my review in a couple of months as to if it seems to have made a difference in cholesterol numbers. I am actually only doing this every other day. Alternating with another cholesterol chew. But I will be purchasing this again when this bag is almost gone. As I promised I am updating my review. And changing the stars from 5 to 1. These have no effect on lowering cholesterol. I eat very healthy but my cholesterol is considered elevated. I refuse to take a Statin so I found this and wanted to try that. When my lab work was done this year my cholesterol was actually 2 points higher so using these did not lower anything. And again, I am very strict in what I eat and how I eat. I do still stand behind the product having a great taste. But if you are looking for something to actually lower your cholesterol this isn’t going to do it. Andit is too expensive for me to try it again.
