Definitely worth the price
Looks better in person, sounds great. Only complaint, battery was pre-installed in guitar and about dead on arrival. Sounds great, action is perfect.

Excellent first acoustic guitar
GREAT beginner acoustic guitar! Not too fancy and not too cheap. Good sound. Very good start point. Highly recommend. It’s been 3 months and I’m still learning the basics. Replaced the cords and adjusted the saddle height and made it my perfect match! I plan to buy a more expensive guitar once I succeed at playing it. I realize everybody playing guitar needs more than one to play often… 🤭

Sweet mid range beginners guitar
This is my first guitar, the cost was good value. I purchased a bundle which was the solid mahogany electric acoustic, dreadnaught cutaway, gear lux hard case, electric tuner, extra strings, picks, and strap. The price of the guitar and case are a great value buy themselves. So the added value of everything else in the bundle is a true bonus along with the free online lessons. You could save money by not getting the electric version if you don’t have to. The electric version of course has a pickup and also has a built in tuner. Let me just say I am very happy with what I got and not only does it sound nice it also looks great

Nice Guitar
I bought this Fender acoustic/electric guitar about 9 months ago. It has a wonderful rich tone, is easy to play and is beautiful. The grain on the mahogany is dark and beautiful. It lives up to its dreadnought name and can fill a large living room with its sound. The tone is deep, rich and mellow. Strings are separated enough for easy picking. Tuning pegs are of decent quality and once strings are broken in it stays pretty much in tune. Other than putting on some bronze phosphor strings I did not need to set the guitar up. I really haven't played it much with an amplifier so can't comment on the electronics, other than the built in tuner works well. The hardside guitar case is well padded and looks professional. I was a little concerned about buying a guitar over the internet, but because of Amazon's return policy I decided it was low risk. I am pleased with the deal. The guitar's far better than one would expect for the price. Check out some of the Youtube videos for a feel for the guitar's sound and playability. Fender did a great job with this one.

Beautiful and nice sounding guitar. Great price!
I'll start off by saying I am a novice guitar player. I've been playing off and on for 30 years, but more off than on. I've been playing on a hand-me-down Yamaha acoustic that was once a great guitar, but through many years of moving, poor storage and not doing anything other than the occasional set of new strings, that Yamaha just did not play well. One reason I was so off and on is that I could never get a clean sound from the Yamaha. I just thought I was not capable of learning guitar. Then, about a year ago, I tried out a friend's Fender acoustic and, after apologizing in advance for my poor playing ability, found that the same chords I struggled with on the Yamaha sounded crisp and clean on my friend's Fender, and I didn't have to make my fingers bleed pressing the strings. Long story made short, have your guitar set up by a professional at your local guitar shop, like I did with this newly purchased Fender. Get the action lowered, put some Elixir strings on it, and this guitar sounds wonderful. It did sound pretty good right out of the box, but I'm glad I took it in to the shop to get it set up, because it turns out the truss rod was not connected, which is why I deducted a star. That would have ended badly if I hadn't taken it to be set up. I did quite a bit of research before choosing this guitar, and the main reason I chose it over others was the overall good reviews it has received for the price point. I know there are much better guitars, but for a novice, I'm very pleased with the sound and quality of this guitar. I don't see myself being "off" again now that I have a guitar that plays and sounds well, coupled with my new knowledge of how to maintain it. As for the accessories that came with the guitar, I am a little annoyed that the description says it comes with a Fender hardshell case, but mine came with a Gearbox case. I would have bought it anyway, but I'm not a fan of inaccurate product descriptions, because there is a difference. Also, the strap is cheap, but I already had a nice leather strap for my Yamaha, and the included strap is serviceable, at least. Overall, the guitar is beautifully finished, sounds great and, in my opinion, an excellent choice for novice to intermediate guitar players.

Great customer service, fantastic guitar
Beautiful guitar (mahogany finish). Blemish free. Action very close, plays like an electric with the supplied strings. I had an issue where high E was dead on first fret and a couple other strings buzzed horribly during simple chording. Called customer service - super friendly and helpful but limited in what they could do over the phone. They were super helpful offering to help me with a return/replacement. Turns out I didn't need a return, I have a friend with a tool that measures curve in the neck. 1/4 to 1/2 turn on the truss rod has this guitar playing beautifully. Rich, clean sound, and quite a deal for the money. I came to post the good review for the customer service though - they were ready to swap the guitar to make me happy. For those negative on the clamp on tuner - you have to choose "G" for guitar and actually clamp it on - it works fine.

My son is ABSOLUTELY loving his new guitar. It was packaged well, it comes with a comfortable strap and a durable carrying case. The sound is amazing and the wood quality is excellent. I highly recommend this guitar.

More than advertised
I have ten other guitars, most of which are very valuable. I play, but enjoy collecting more. I saw this Fender and knew it was a great deal, but still wondered how good it might really be at the price offered. When it came in, I was stunned. The mahogany was without blemish and did not have the darkish vertical lines shown in the photo. It appears to be old growth, and I realized the camera was doing what cameras do; it was emphasizing the darker lines within the wood. I checked it closely from top to bottom, inside and out, and found not a single flaw. The tone was rich, but classically a very bit tinny with the new strings. From long experience, I know this will mellow within a few weeks, and if not, can be fixed with some new heavier strings. All in all, I am very happy with the purchase. For $300 I got a $700 - $1000 guitar. It was black Friday after all, so it did not surprise me. (I bought my first good guitar over forty years ago. A Takamine accoustic-electric, which were all the rage than. The tone on that machine was amazing. The more I played the richer the tone got. I finally gave it to my grandson who was then learning to play. I paid $400 for it new.) I am very happy with this purchase. I used Prime, so the instrument arrived right on time without shipping charges.
