Upgraded my office AC with the 12000 BTU model. Installed a drain hose to my condensate pump and fired it up. So far it's keeping the office cool and pleasant to the point that one of the days I turned it to dehumidifier mode and turned off cooling mode. The noise level isn't terrible and it's quiet enough that I can work on the phone and have band rehearsals in the room without interference. The package came with a tool or cleaning the filter which will be great once I need to do that and it uses the same size exhaust hose as the previous unit so I was able to keep the new one for if the previous one wears out or gets punctured.

Louder than advertised and sleep mode doesn't do anything from what I gathered. Its better than a window unit but definitely not "super quiet". Also you get what you pay for, mine came plastered with stickers and labels I can't seem to get off. Apparently the highest quality item this company has is adhesive for stickers. Things that should be an easy peel sticker or things that shouldn't even be on the unit have made ot a little ugly on the outside. I tried my hardest to get the bright yellow energy rating sticker off and got the yellow, but not the adhesive.. day 1 it blows cold air right from the start, the exhaust hose feels sturdy but the attachments are flimsy and poorly designed. If this thing works and I decide to keep it long term I will probably make an insulated wood connection for the window and custom fittings. Overall I can't be upset for $300. The stickers are the reason for 1 star. If they had not used industrial super glue on stickers it would be an initial 4 star but I took a star away for every hour I spent trying to get stickers and adhesive off the machine

Pro: cools the room, although not as efficiently as I had hoped. I dont have a big bedroom, and with an outside temp of 80 deg. this unit will not lower the room temp below 72 degrees. The unit is quieter than an older model we were using.Con: this unit is putting out 5 gallons of water every 8 hours. It really needs a pump for removing the water. Also, the control panel is lit by a very bright led that, as far as I can tell, cannot be dimmed. Rather annoying in a bedroom.

This little unit is fantastic! We have an ancient one like it that’s huge and not as powerful. I wish I could afford more than one of these. Pulls the humidity right out of the air, cools down the room, and removes all smell of teen boy. Great value for the money. Super easy to install. Seems to be energy efficient too. And I really love how much smaller it is than our old one!

I am giving this Portable Air Conditioner a 5 STAR review because it truly deserves it! It’s been such a blessing in our home during this hot summer. It’s cooled down our rooms so well, I simply can’t get enough of it! Worth every penny. It comes with a remote control which is so useful, and other parts. I have the remote next to me on the Coach, really convenient. Love it overall and have been using every day!

It's not a one star company. The product maybe a one star product. I'll say this much it shipped and arrived fast. The first day I used it it worked amazing. I'm in a 450sq ft boat, and it cooled all of it down into the upper 60's I thought how awesome! The next day the unit started acting up. I thought maybe it's user error, maybe I didn't set it right. The unit would run for about five mins. The compressor would turn on, and you could hear it. It was super loud, louder than advertised. It cooled for a few mins. Then the compressor would turn off, and it made a loud chachunk noise when it did. Id turn it off, wait a bit, turn it on, it would run for a bit then stop. After a while the blower would stop. The unit said it was on all lights on, no blower and no compressor. I reached out to the seller, they responded really fast. That was impressive. They tried to troubleshoot. Tbh the message they sent back read like old school sterio instructions. It involved a lot of math, figuring the outside temp to the inside temp. I did think it was funny that they said if the outside temp is 84 degrees the unit will shut off to protect itself.... I live in South Texas 84 degrees is a fall day after an arctic cold front. I can't have an ac unit that can't cool when it's hotter than 84 outside. Needless to say they did accept a return and I am sending the unit back. I really wanted it to on work. It's a cute unit, small, doesn't take up a lot of space.
