Amazing quality can’t go wrong
I waited to do a review so I could gets some use out of this first. I have been using it now for a month and I love it. I have two giant breed long haired dogs and there is always hair everywhere. I think I have it all swept up and then another pile shows up. This machine lifts any left over hair off the floor and gathers it at the top of the dirty water tank. It does not clog and does not leave wet clumps on the floor. When I am done using it I run the clean cycle and then clean and soak the dirty tank and throw the roller in the washing machine. I love that it is cordless so I can just keep going, not have it unplug and forcing me to find a new outlet. I get my floors clean in record time and it doesn’t lose charge or suction in the amount of time I need it. I usually run it continuously for about 30-40 minutes. If you are on the fence with this one you won’t be disappointed. It is high quality, fairly quiet and cleans super fast and efficiently.

Life Changing
My house has ALL wood, bamboo and tile floors. I've said over the years that I wanted a maid to come in and just do the floors. A pregnancy injury left me in pain most of the time and floors are really hard for me. I started with a robot vacuume that I love love love. Next I wanted an electric mop. After reading all the reviews, the corded plug in Shark Hydrovac is what I bought. I am reading poor reviews here under this product, but they continually mention the weak battery. My review is for the corded plug in vacuume not a cordless model. My floors have never been cleaner. I used the vacuume over the course of two days and about 10 hours for an initial clean. The bamboo floor is only six years old and sealed. That floor was so easy to clean, although I still cleaned it three times over since it hasn't been cleaned in over six months. The kitchen tile was super easy too, although it doesn't reach the grout, my daughter is young and took on the challenge to clean the grout with a nifty grout brush I found. The hard part to clean is the 30 year old wood floors with areas where the seal is worn off. We bought the house from someone who's dogs had scratched the floors and wore off the finish in high traffic areas. This was the hard part to clean the first time. I did the same as with the bamboo and cleaned it the times over. After it was done, I realized there were areas of built up dirt on the unsealed areas I had not been getting clean. I decided to go back and clean this area by hand with a scrub brush to get it where I wanted. After that the floors have been a snap to keep clean. I've put in about 20 hours with the vacuume so far and have had zero problems. Some reviews say you can't vacuume and mop together. I didn't even try that. I vacuume with the robot first, then mop. I don't want to risk scratching the floor with a gritty mop. It is super easy to clean. The clean tank chines right out with the push of a button. The dirty tank is the same way. I dump it in the sink, rinse it and either use it again or put it on a towel to drain and dry. There is a sponge on the filter that I rinse and squeeze and put on the towel to dry. The beater bar comes out easily. I rinse under the faucet in the kitchen sink and squeeze by grabbing the bar and turning it around with the other hand. Again, I either put it back on the mop to keep cleaning or leave it on its end to dry on the towel. The vacuume without the beater bar and without the dirty tank, has a very short tube between the two that cleans easily with a bottle brush that is not included, but I already own it. All these parts are removable and replaceable with one hand. I find it easy to use, easy to empty the dirty tank and easy to refill the clean tank. The mop has a self clean feature that works pretty well, but I found that it is easy enough to clean it the way I described above and decided that is rather care for it myself and allow the parts to all dry completely. I've had zero issues with mold or a moldy smell. My floors are cleaner than they have been in years and are easy to maintain after the initial clean I have them. Note, I have a corgi dog that sheds all year. The robot vacuume and the Shark mop have changed my life. I don't leave the house covered in fur anymore. Once a week I vacuume and mop, or one other day in between if we are all off work for holidays and tracking more dust and dirt. Everyone in the house is impressed with his easily the floor is kept in a very clean and neat state. Along with the robot vacuume, this mop is the best investment I've made in householt cleaning tools, ever.

Powerful and versatile, but not a miracle for dried messes
The Shark HydroVac MessMaster has become my go-to for cleaning most household messes. It handles wet spills, crumbs, and general dirt quickly and effectively, making cleanup much faster than a traditional mop or vacuum alone. I appreciate that it’s corded, so I never have to worry about running out of battery mid-clean, and the self-cleaning microfiber brush keeps maintenance simple. One thing to note is that it struggles with dried-on messes. Anything that’s stuck to the floor, like dried food, won’t come up easily. You either have to scrape it off first or be prepared to wait a long time while the brush slowly works at it. For everything else, though, the HydroVac does a great job, leaving floors clean and refreshed. The unit is a bit bulkier than a standard stick vacuum, and the cord can limit reach in larger rooms, but the convenience of handling wet and dry cleaning in one tool outweighs these minor drawbacks. Overall, it’s a versatile, high-performing cleaning solution that’s especially useful for families with kids or pets.

Good purchase
I was a skeptic. This is not my kind of cleaning, but I tried it. So glad I did and it’s very useful.Pros - it’s a convenient lightweight mopping system that also vacuums.Dries quickVacuums to the edgePicks up quite a bit of dog hair even though I sweep firstEasy to operate and emptyThe little tank lasts for quite a bit of flooringCons - doesn’t scrub up dry sticky spots wellDoesn’t mop to the edgeSeems to have a slow response on off button which causes a slight delayWish it was wider, I have a lot of floor to cover.I would buy this again and recommend it to everyone. It doesn’t replace a good thorough scrub and mopping but it’s pretty good for most jobs. I have used it on my vinyl and tile flooring.

Doesn’t dry vacuum
Misleading, please know this does not dry vacuum. Your area rugs will be damp. Also I went through 3 cups of water and solution before finishing one floor of my home, so you will run though the cleaner quickly. The suction and okay, not great, but it is great for pet fur on your hardwoods, takes a lot of steps out of cleaning. I suggest if you plan to do an area rug, do it before the bare floors as the brush seemed to leave behind residue when going from hard floor to rug. The battery lasted through my whole cleaning, I also like the self cleaning feature. Also note it is very loud.Edit to add the charging tray stays wet after self cleaning, which is bad for so many reasons. Definitely SKIP this one.

Great and easy product to use!
Wow as someone who used to use a wet jet this is so much easier and cleans better. It was a great price and has good power that lasts for all of my floors which is about 1600 square feet. It does not however clean all the way up to the baseboard but maybe that’s normal or there’s a trick I don’t know about. For now I just clean the area next to the baseboard with a rag.
