I recently purchased a 48x24 inch electric standing desk for my daughter, who is in elementary school. After a few weeks of use, she enjoys it so far. The 48x24 inch surface is spacious enough for her laptop and additional accessories like a notebook, keyboard, and mouse. It fits well in smaller spaces without feeling cramped. However, if you need to fit more items, such as multiple monitors, I would definitely recommend opting for a larger surface. The electric height adjustment is smooth and quiet, which is a huge plus. As my daughter grows taller, we’ll be able to easily adjust the height to suit her. The control panel makes switching between sitting and standing positions simple and user-friendly. The desk feels sturdy and stable, even at its maximum height, which was important to me for safety reasons. Assembly was straightforward—the instructions were clear, and it took me about 45 minutes to put it together on my own. The surface material is also easy to clean. My daughter accidentally drew on it with crayons, but I easily wiped it off with wet wipes. One thing I wish it had is better cable management. There’s no dedicated tray or system to hide cables, so I had to come up with my own solution. Overall, this desk is worth the investment. This one is perfect and worth the money, I promise.Easy to assemble, even though it did take me 1 1/2 hours to do it by myself. The holes are nicely predrilled, and the assembly manual is very coherent. I could tell by that how high quality this desk is.The wood and frame is very heavy but also very sturdy. While it is heavy, it’s easy to slide around on the ground once it’s assembled. The power cord is a good length, long enough to still have a good amount of cord even when the table is at the highest setting. Standing at the table feels natural and comfortable, and so does sitting.Along with that, not many people have bought the dark brown version, but I’m in love with these colors. It’s a vibrant dark brown which looks perfect with all my other wood furniture.
