Totally worth the money and saves you hassle
I've been using the CANARY Cardboard Cutter for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it’s become my go-to tool for opening boxes and packages. First off, the serrated blade is super sharp, and it slices through cardboard like butter. I love that it’s made from Japanese stainless steel, which feels sturdy and reliable. One of my favorite features is the non-stick coating on the blade. I didn’t really think much of it at first, but it actually makes a difference! You know how sometimes tape and glue can get all stuck on the blade? Not with this one! It cuts cleanly every time, which is a big plus in my book. The size is just right—7.5 inches is easy to handle without feeling bulky. Plus, it comes with a sheath that keeps the blade covered when I’m not using it, so I can toss it in my drawer or bag without worrying about accidental cuts. I mean, who wants to deal with that? Now, for the downsides: the only thing I noticed is that the sheath can be a bit tricky to get on and off at times. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it could be a bit smoother. Also, it might not be the best choice for those who need a heavy-duty cutter for tougher materials.Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. If you’re looking for a reliable box cutter that’s easy to use and safe to store, I highly recommend giving this one a shot. Five stars from me!

Very nice tool - more useful than I thought it would be.
An inexpensive but very useful tool. My wife even loves it. It works great on cardboard boxes to open and then cut them down when needed. Have used it for several months now and it's still going strong.

Great to teach knife safety with
These are great for kids just learning the basics of how to use a knife or box cutter, with little to no chance of cutting oneself. These are ideal for opening boxes and packaging in cold environments, even with gloves on. Highly recommended.

Quality cardboard cutter
I buy way too much stuff on Amazon and end up with several boxes that need to be cut and flattened before I dispose of them. I’ve generally used some pocket knives which are on the more expensive side but I know cardboard ruins the edge. I don’t like the standard cutters that use razor blades. Then I found this. Made specifically for cardboard and made in Japan so you know its quality. From first use, I loved it. The serrated blade works perfectly. Isn’t super sharp in the sense that it won’t cut your hands. Nice and lightweight and has a solid build to it with a nice blade cover. Highly recommended if you deal with a lot of cardboard.

Great for cardboard, but not useful as an all-around knife.
Works great for cardboard. It does not work as well as desired for opening plastic packages or bubble-wrap mailing envelopes - ripping them by force instead of cutting them. It does cut shipping tape okay, but not as well as an X-acto or utility blade.

Cardboard Craftime Made Simple.
Prompt delivery and a superior product. Cuts through shipping cardboard like a hot knife through butter. Paired with the canary cardboard scissors....craft time will be a breeze!

very useful
I'm using a lot of cardboard in my yard to put down and then cover with multch or wood chips. This knife is the best Ive ever used with cardboard. Beats any other knife that I own and very little chance of injury as its not dangerous sharp like a box cutter.
