I installed these on my F350 as I just purchased a 44’ 5th wheel toy hauler snd I can say the install was straight forward and they really work well to level out my truck with that monster of a toy hauler hooked up. I would buy them again, great product!!

This is the third of these kits that I have owned and they are great for adding load leveling, load capacity and stability to any truck. They are relatively straight forward to install and they are reliable. In fact, the Ford models I purchased are coded by the manufacturer for use on Ford Super Duty pickups but I was able to adapt them to two F-150s with little or no effort. On the F-150s, these kits effectively raise the load capability to that of a 3/4 ton pickup and they are particularly useful when pulling trailers with tongue weights nearing the truck's rated capacity. They keep the truck level so your headlights aren't pointing to the sky and add a measure of stability that is really noticeable, removing the tendency for heavy loads, either in the bed or on a trailer, making the vehicle sway. I have been running a set of these lifts on and '98 F-150 for over 10 years and they have never leaked or been unreliable even though the vehicle has seen its share of road salt and has over 185,000 miles. I bought the latest of 3 kits to install on a Ford F-350 dual rear wheeled vehicle and they do the job nicely.

Overall nice kit. Instuctions a little vague. Be prepared to drill holes in the frame.

I purchased this item for my Ford F250 Super Duty gas truck. I tow a 26 foot travel trailer and the trailer kept porpoising and felt like the trailer was trying to drive itself. I have read several articles and researched this problem. The recommendation was that I install some type of air lift or air bag system. I reviewed several manufactures for some type of air lift system and chose the Air Lift Company because it has been in business for over 30 years and was first used in stock car racing. Installation was relativity easy with two people as long as you have the correct tools and drill bits. I also installed the air compressor and mounted pressure gauge along with the ability to fill and/or deflate the air bags while sitting comfortably in the cab. I was very skeptical that this kit would make any difference. Boy was I mistaken. First thing I noticed was that the trailer and truck were able to be leveled by filling the air bags. This allowed for more stability while driving the truck. There is still some porpoising but it is just a fraction of what it was. My wife who is always the passenger noticed that the ride was smother and more controlled. She said that it felt stiffer. All-in-all this is the best purchase I have made regarding towing my travel trailer. If I replace the truck I will install another Air Lift 57212 LoadLifter 5000 along with the air compressor.

I'm missing alot of screws and bolts my box was all damaged now im going to have to find bolts and screws to try to make this work not to happy

Bought these for my 2007 F250 4x4. I tow a 10k lb travel trailer and put two Harley's in the truck bed at the same time, which get's me pretty close to my weight limit. By having these and weight distribution bars for the trailer, the truck and trailer sit perfectly level and the ride is solid. Need to remember to lower the air pressure without a load 'cuz the ride in my 250 will rattle your teeth. The price for this lift kit was a good as I found, and less than from the MFG. The installation was a more involved than I thought. The kit says there is no drilling involved, which proved to be false. Had to drill one hole through the frame on each side. Installation also involved taking off both back tires. Being 6'-4", crawling around under the truck was a bit tight, but I like getting my hands dirty. I wound up installing the needle valves at the end of the bed in holes that were already there. Mistake, I have to take the tailgate off to get to them. Probably going to change this out and route them to the liscense plate, through the bumper, which would be much more convenient. If you have decent tools, are good with them, and have a couple of hours, then give it a shot! I'm really happy with the end result.

I have put many miles on these bags fully loaded all the time at 85 PSI, but they will leak down after 3 days or so. I keep a small compressor to air them up. I assume the leaks are in the lines or fittings but it doesn't bother me that much to air them up occasionally. They're not getting any worse after years of use.

Great product, installed on my f350 and had no issues with installation and operation. I will be buying another set for my new truck!

Easy to install. Fits my 2005 f350 perfect. Small leak after install fixed by wiggling the Hose at the bag connector. Been 2 months of use hauling varied loads using varied pressures - love it.

Had to send it back was for f350 didnt fit my f450

Parts missing.Had to run to a hardware store for nuts.

Installed on 2009 F250 Definitely some drilling involved and prep work. If you take your time and do it properly it is a fantastic investment!
