Incredible Value for $20 for all that is included. Wonderfully sized board. Chess, checkers, and a set of dice lol Obviously, this is a travel product so the pieces are light weight but I am surprised at the quality of those product. Bought to teach my kids.

Gave some chess sets as gifts and used the rest for my friends . I enjoy the travel set and would recommend them for everyone

I bought this chess set entirely for the silicone board, and wasnt expecting much. An individual single silicone board is the same price as this set.The board is a little thinner than my premium silicone board, but barely, and still perfectly functional. The pieces which I thought would be throw away quality are full size Staunton style, just not super heavy.These would be excellent for chess club start ups.

The silicone mat lies flat, even after being folded into the case, and unfolds into a full size chess board that can be used on any hard surface. Case has good zipper, holds everything neatly, is about the size of a headphone case. The playing pieces are plastic, but feel heavy, good quality. The recipient of this gift is a chess fanatic, and had looked at many travel sets, but all felt cheaply made. He likes this set very well.

The silicone mat is excellent. Very flexible. Thin, but not too thin. Grippy on the bottom, less grippy on top. Comes in a protective plastic wrap so it's clean of dust when it arrives.I guess I shouldn't expect much for the price, but the pieces are low quality. They don't feel weighted at all, just hollow. Besides feeling cheap, this means they tip easily. The plastic finish has an unfinished dull sheen, similar to PVC pipe from a hardware store. Edges are a bit sharp with visible seams. Plastic "mold flash" was left on some seams that needed to be shaved off. I didn't think I would be picky about the look and feel of plastic pieces, but getting these made me realize I do actually care.

Easy to pack up and take with you. The board itself is of an interesting material, a little flimsy but meant to be flexible. The pieces themselves are good quality and regular sized. Overall a good product, love the case it comes with

This kit has a foldable silicone mat (standard size) and nice plastic chess and checker pieces. And all packed in a compact nylon carrying case. These are multiple gifts and definitely checked all my boxes.
