I don’t know if this works as a toy, but I bought it for my Laura Croft cosplay for PAX, and the aesthetic and size really nailed it for my costume. People easily recognized my character and I got compliments on the accessories. I didn’t want to spend a lot, and this was the perfect size and cost for my budget friendly costume. As a 5’7” adult, the 40” bow was a perfect size. The quiver was a little tricky to figure out how to wear, but I made it work using a belt as a shoulder sling and attaching the quiver to it.

Used this for an elf cosplay for Ren Fest. It actually shoot the arrows, which is quite fun.

The bow is actually really cool looking and we got the arrows to go pretty far. Fun for adults and kids alike.

There really is no place to hook the bag on. The arrows kept falling out.

The wood on this bow is smooth, but there are certain rough spots on the sides. The plastic string used for the bow is durable and can take 1,000+ shots before breaking (rough estimate). After about 100 shots, some bows will start creaking. Even though it might sound like the bow will soon break, it will not (yet). The weight (for when you draw the bow) is unspecified, which should be fixed, and the bow itself is not compatible with smaller arrows (it slowly breaks them). The replacement arrows for this bow don't exist so you cannot ever have more than the given amount of arrows. That is unless you buy another bow of this kind. Overall, this bow is great for beginners and intermediate archers.

Used for a costume, this was as pictured, a value and met the need! Have not used this at all, as it is just a prop for my costume.

I recently got this archery set for my kids, and it's been a huge hit! My kids were thrilled with how easy it was to handle, and it’s just the right size for them to get a feel for archery without being too heavy or cumbersome. The arrows are designed with soft rubber tips, which is a great safety feature. I appreciate that they can enjoy some target practice without me worrying too much about accidents. The bow shoots with decent accuracy up to about 25 feet, which is plenty for backyard fun. However, I’d advise setting clear boundaries for where they can shoot, as the excitement can sometimes get the better of them! One thing to note is that the set is handmade, so the sizes can vary slightly, but this doesn’t seem to affect the performance at all. If you're looking for a fun and engaging gift that gets kids moving and using their imagination, this archery set is a fantastic choice. It’s been a source of endless entertainment in our household, and I’d highly recommend it for any young archery enthusiasts!

The bow seems well made and looks pretty cool. My one complaint is that the arrow tips are a little stiffer than I would like. My 10 year old understood that she isn’t supposed to fire the arrows, but if you have a kid that you know is going to go wild with them you’ll have some broken lamps or injured eyes.
