Q: Are these bush or vine?

These are vines, planted mine last year, they grew to about 6 ft long. This year they have grown even longer. Hard to give as true length as they are growing up and weaving in and out of a trellis. Did not get any berries last year. This year the vines are covered with blossoms and even some young green berries.

Q: do you think with adequate watering that this variety would do ok in hardiness zone 9b/10a (San Jose, CA - gets hot in summer, winter mild)?

Its super hot in the summer here in Texas. 2 of the plants I received are doing really well. They seem to push thru hot or cold. Need some watering during drought conditions. Thsts about it. They start out sloe, but now they are growing. Im getting more from this seller.
