1- it is not made out of cast iron, and if it is it must be the thinnest easily bent type of cast iron. 2- the welding is no more than 2 points at each welded area ( I mean they touch once and again once more). 3- the sleeves for its standing legs are 2 point touched welding. One can easily change and shape the metal used in 4 sleeves for legs, mine had one pressed out of original shape during transportation which I used a wrench and brought it back to shape. 4- screws for the handle is very thine but fortunately the holes were big enough,so I used a bigger and stronger screw to put the wooden part to the cap. In general it’s disappointing,mental used is not thick at all, one can push down with 2 finger pressing on it. The only good thing about it is the 40 inch area where you can barbecue, but don’t expect it to last more than a year or two. I personally don’t barbecue much ,maybe 3 to 4 times a year . If you are barbecuing more than that look for better product. I say again , I did fall for it because it said made out of cast iron,and I was expecting something thicker than 2-3 millimeters of hard metal. It is a cheap Chinese made minimal welding was used in making of this product.

There were no instructions for assembly however it was easy to figure out. During assembly some of the materials were bent and scratched likely due to delivery as the boxed was ripped in some areas. Once put together I noticed that on the box that there was a disclaimer that the product was made with hazardous materials of lead and cadmium which in the state of CA is known to cause defects and poisoning. A product made in the PRC, People’s Republic of China should be taken with caution with these disclaimers based on regulatory requirements. After checking the product materials indicating it is made of cast iron, I realized I had been duped. Annoying that I have to disassemble and return as I was excited to use.

The product is not made from cart iron as the seller claims it. Horrible workmanship, cheaply done for the selling price. Complete piece of junk, true testament to the communist chinese "quality. Thinking of returning this piece of garbage.

I found it cheaper in another place and when it arrived, it was dented.

This is not cast iron and only has one grating on one side the other for shish kebabs for the price it should atleast come with them but it doesn’t. Once again it is not cast iron
