This is my second Tetra IQ filter. My first one lasted about ten years and is still running strong on my 55‑gallon tank. Recently it started making a light clicking noise, cleaning helped, but I took it as a sign that it was time for an upgrade. This new version is even better. The redesigned cover prevents splatter and stops calcium from building up on the lid, and it runs noticeably quieter than the older model. I like it so much that I’m ordering a second one for the other side of the tank. I keep African Mbunas, and they’re a messy bunch, so strong, reliable filtration is a must. This filter definitely delivers.

This filter has worked very well in my aquarium. It is easy to install, operates quietly, and helps keep the water clean and clear. The water flow is steady without disturbing the fish, which is very important to me. Overall, it is a reliable product that performs as described. I would recommend it for small to medium-sized aquariums.

Love this filter! So quiet too! Before i had a aqueon ""quiet flow 30"" which they should have named aqueon loud flow.. lets just say the aqueon is now in the trash. Stay away from the aqueon quiet flow at all costs and please go for this whisper iq!!! I love this whisper IQ 45. Amazing. Quiet. Looks great on my 29 gallon tank. Fish are happy!!
