Fantastic. Should have bought this many years ago. We always used a stoneware lid from another pot, or a bowl, but nothing ever fit right, and it was always a burn risk when things got hot from steam. This is great because it covers the whole plate, has sufficient height to the edges, does not touch the food on the entire plate, has a vent hole, it is easy to wash, no seams or places to collect moisture, and a stay cool handle. It also produces way less condensation when heating leftovers, so no soggy pizza crust. And we are always looking to steer clear of plastic, so this checks that box as well. We also like that you can clearly see the extent to which heating of food is taking place, so it provides much more control of reheating leftovers. Fits our Crate & Barrel (for reference) blue trim dinner plates to the edge, but does not fall off and is quite stable. Also works great to cover small plates and bowls. If it fits within the footprint of your dinner plates this is a no brainer if you routinely reheat food in the microwave. Just buy it.

SAFE glass microwave cover. Plastic covers are not as safe as glass. This is thick and heavy but sturdy. The steam hole are perfect to release a bit of the steam but warms the food better than a plastic cover. Strudy handle

This product is a bit pricey, but worth it. Because of the rubber handle, the lid is easy to handle when hot. It covers a large square plate with food without any problems because it is quite deep. It’s heavy but the quality it good. Even though it has a vent, quite a bit of water vapor still collects on the inside of the lid. It’s still a good buy though. The reason for giving it 4 stars is that the water vapor collection was not highlighted by the manufacturer.

Great Cover for Foods / Plates in Microwave - - All Glass, easy to Clean!! Love it!!

Firstly, the material quality is 5-star. This product is truly functional, easy to use, looks good and the design allows the moisture/steam to escape so food such as pasta is not soggy but cooked as if it were done on a stove top. I reheated a New York Strip the other day the microwave and it was cooked without being dry but very hot. Should've bought one of these glass microwave food covers long ago. FYI, I use an Amana commercial microwave at my home.

Excellent microwave food cover!I was very pleased with this purchase - it is large enough to cover a larger plate or dish, heavy duty glass and seems durable. The silicone knob for lifting it is a nice touch.

Actually highly durable and well made glass cover. It works well with medium size plates and good and easy to clean.
