Philips Ultra Efficient - Ultra energy saving lights, LED light source, 60W, A60, B22 Warm White 2700 kelvin, clear

It's an excellent light bulb there is no doubt about it. Delivers 840 lumen from only 4 watts and gives out a pleasant light not too harsh. If you are looking for a bulb that will last for years and deliver energy efficiency this is a fantastic choice. It works well and is flicker free. Yes it is fairly pricey compared to some but nevertheless among energy efficient bulbs the price is fair.

Love the old fashioned look. Plenty of light

I love lights and had LEDs for over a decade. I thought to save a bit more by changing old LEDs that have lost their brightess (they do age) with these ultra low power. If replacing old LEDs these may be 1/3 power (4w vs 10-12w) and similar lumens (~800lm). They are not too warm, I'd say about 3000k not 2700k very warm. They don't have an opaque diffuser but look like old incandescent with visible 'fillament'. Note they are not dimmable. At this time the higher luminosity (75w, 100w equivalent) are not available in B22 socket... The main issue is that they are glass and really thin one at that. Be really really careful- it will shatter if you apply and kind of pressure and it will crack. Old incandescents would be bullet proof glass compared to these. But being glass it will not tarnish in time like most plastic ones. Strange decision by Philips for sure. Anyway for a garden/hallway or similar where you have many 5+ and on for many hours the cost savings should be substantial in time...

Excellent product can always rely on Phillips

Very efficient. Barely get warm even after running for hours. Should last longer than regular LEDs too because of this. Made of glass so need to be delicate with them.
