Excellent piece of kit. Keeps the room cool and thermally insulates the extractor pipe.

Fits over my Aircon hose well and does reduce the heat coming from the pipe, flexible enough and seems to be durable.

These work OK in terms of keeping the heat inside the exhaust hose of a portable air-conditioning unit. They work best with the 100 - 125mm diameter flexible hoses, although it was still a bit of a struggle to get the sleeve closed around a bendy hose and the elastic straps in place. However, my a/c has a hose of that size joined to an extension section that's more like 150mm diameter. Fitting the insulating sleeve to that, I felt a bit like I was one of the Chuckle Brothers... bits of white plastic hose kept popping through the insulating sleeve as I struggled to close the velcro fasteners and put the black elastic straps around it all. Now look what you've done, Barry! Other than that, it works well. Pack your patience and make sure no-one is filming you while fitting it!

J’ai acheté ce manchon d’isolation pour ma climatisation mobile afin de mieux isoler le tuyau d’évacuation. Comme mon tuyau est relativement court, proche de ma porte-fenêtre, j’ai plié le manchon en deux pour renforcer son efficacité. ✅ Ce que j’ai aimé : • Très efficace pour limiter les pertes de froid et améliorer le rendement de la climatisation. • Longueur généreuse, pratique pour adapter à différents tuyaux ou configurations. • Matériau isolant de bonne qualité, qui garde la fraîcheur sans se déformer. • Simple à installer et à ajuster pour mon installation spécifique. ❌ Ce que j’ai moins aimé : • Il ne faut pas le plier comme sur certaines images, car les scratchs risquent de ne pas tenir et le manchon peut s’ouvrir sur toute la longueur, même avec les petites sangles fournies. Conclusion : Un manchon d’isolation efficace et pratique, surtout si l’on adapte sa longueur à son installation. Bien pensé et performant, je recommande 👍
