Very high quality, looks and feels high end. Fit and finish are top notch. Gaps are very straight and the gas cylinders work well. Our 13 in. thick pillow top Queen Mattress fit with room to spare. The reasons that we did not give it 5 stars are: - Instructions are all by pictogram (typical) and a couple of the drawings were actually a mirror image of the actual part causing us to assemble a couple of pieces wrong. - The allen head screws have perfect recessed holes and are very solid. However the shiny heads mar an otherwise beautiful glossy white finish. Some white round stick on covers would work well I think. We are still looking for a suitable size. Would be a very cheap item to include with the kit. Otherwise we are very happy with it. Exceeded our expectations.

We have ours in my sewing room where it is only down for company. Was pretty labor intensive to assemble but we managed pretty well until we got to the final stage of putting the two boxes together. We're in our 70s and needed the muscle help of the grown grandkids. It looks nice and so handy.

As others shared in review, assembly was frustrating, directions weren't accurate, parts weren't labeled. Other than that it works well as a guest bed and saves space while up. Does make lots of noise if person rolls over.

Setup is a challenge. Follow instructions very very carefully and don't get discouraged if you have to take apart a piece because the holes are "on the wrong side". Definitely a 2 person job and will need 3 or 4 for the final couple of steps. Do not use wall anchors provided. Suggest ez anchor 100 pound anchors. Once anchored to wall is very sturdy.

We sent this to our daughter whom lives 26 hours away from us. We went to visit and no longer slept on an old blow up mattress. Life is grand on visits now.

It’s ok. The bolts are very cheap. You can damage them easily and then they are stuck

The illustrated instructions are small and vague: Pay attention to the video links, which show more detail. Unfortunately, upon the first night's sleep of our ~140 lb. guest, the legs and the desk underneath broke away and the bed tilted forward, although he did not awaken. We've taken down the bed, stored the mattress, and ordered another bed from a different manufacturer.

This was labor intensive, kind of disappointing that the end product wasn’t as nice as I hoped. It says four people and for sure is necessary at the end, when we had to mount the bed to the wall. You really have to want a Murphy bed, because we will never do it again and will sell it with the house.
