I purchased this item based on other user reviews and I can say that the wireless shutter release did not disappoint me. I would have given the product 5 stars, but when used during long exposure low-light shoots for prolonged amount of time, the batteries in the Wi-Fi transmitter drained faster than anticipated. Instead of breaking light discipline for other members of the group, I decided to use the supplied cable and use the remote shutter release and bypass the Wi-Fi altogether. That is now my preferred setup.The remote control is packed full of features, and for my specific model DSLR, worked perfectly. It is imperative to practice and learn the operation of each function of the remote before using in the field as there is a moderate learning curve to understand the buttons and functionality of each setting.

I love these I wouldn’t spend the money on a native branded shutter release this is more capable and half the price. The only thing is the cords for canon can be temperamental so I would buy extras.

Lost connection with the receiver after only a few minutes. Will be returning.

Does what it needs to do without spending a lotUpdate: for over a year used on a daily basis as I shoot real estate professionally. Used enough that I’ve worn out the print on all the buttons. Has never failed me. I also use recreationally for long exposures and astrophotography. Bought a second one just to have in case discontinued. I like it that much. As a side note I’ve never been gentle with it either. Pretty rugged

So far I've only gotten the delay, continuous and interval settings to work. Returning it in hopes a cheaper one will work and explain things better if something doesn't work.

The instructions are not the best and it took me a little to figure out. I have a Canon 6d mkii. I have had cameras for 50 years. From Kodak toys, Minolta 35mm, Canon 35mm, Canon dslr, and now my 6d. I have used cable releases and infrared remotes. Once I played with this remote, and watched a couple of videos, the light came on and it is easy to use. I like it a lot and it works well. It’s size and weight are perfect for me. I gave it 4 stars because I think the instructions should have been clearer.
