Clarifying Detox Shampoo

Very good shampoo. Hair feels smooth and squeaky clean. Smells nice but consistency is quite thick and have to squeeze to get it out. Very happy with the results.

This really cleansed my fine greasy highlighted hair, feeling squeaky clean washing away all the product build up and when I conditioned my hair the conditioner worked so much better.

Really does give you squeaky clean hair which then soaks up conditioner to the maximum afterwards. Hair was so shiny afterwards and as someone who can suffer from itchy scalp/product irritation, no issues at all. As per some other comments, the shampoo us really thick and I had to unscrew the lid and really squeeze the bottle, however worth this annoyance as the product is so good.

Rating 0 TERRIBLE, It is so thick, it does not come through the opening. Therefore I removed the screw top, hoping that the shampoo would be able to run out. NOT A CHANCE. It is stuck in the container. I have to put a knife into the container to get any of the shampoo!!! LIVING PROOF is an expensive product and I am disgusted that I am unable to return this product. I have just seen that this cannot be returned. I have had 3 shampoos, that's all!!!!! How can I buy through Amazon if faulty produce cannot be returned?

I’ve been using Living Proof solely for at least the last ten years. When they came out with a clarifying shampoo I thought huh, I never ever clarify because I’ve been using just their products. Maybe this means it’s a good idea, even though their products are technically “silicone free”. I have greying hair that’s turned wavy and very frizzy over time. As good as Living Proof products are, nothing seems to help the frizz and believe me, I’ve incorporated everything you can possibly do. Anyhoo I thought maybe the frizz is buildup. I gave this shampoo a whirl and finished with the Repair mask. I added two pumps of the Bond Repair after my shower and, ten minutes later, did my usual routine of their leave in conditioner plus the Curl enhancer. I don’t use heat on my hair. This is the next day. While I have to admit my frizz is the same (no fault of the shampoo-clearly my frizz was not due to buildup) what IS very different is the texture of my hair. It’s SO SILKY! The shampoo made my hair so squeaky I was rather afraid, but the mask rinsed out so sleek and smooth, I was shocked. My grey hairs are really sparkling today. Last month my mother told me my hair was looking terribly dry. Now, some of that is my apparently inevitable frizz, but some of it was definitely buildup. I feel this is pretty strong stuff but I’ll be using it once a month now to just get the layers of whatever off my hair.

I loved the loreal metal detox. It once prevented me from cutting off a large section of my hair that I believed to be dead, but was apparently just suffering from buildup from my well water. This however, is supreme. It did what the metal detox did times two. This may be specifically corrective of my particular well water, but the results will make sure I always have a bottle.
