I haven't tried mine out with wax yet but I can say that these are beautiful! My best friend from Jr High just passed away and his husband can't bear to remove a single item of decor from the home despite my saying that he needs to make baby steps to slowly make spaces his own. I was with my best friend the week before he passed and he said that his husband loved sea turtles but his space was in the bedroom. What? He passed away before I could remedy the situation on compromising shared spaces so while I was browsing for my own wax warmers (I chose the owl theme) I saw the sea turtles! I had it shipped to him and bought wax from some fancy place that was gender neutral and very subtle (I also bought the same wax for myself). He sent me a video of it tonight. I didn't look at the warmer itself but zoomed in to see what room it was in. I'm also a widow so was delighted that he placed it in a common area of the house! I'm proud of him and glad that this warmer was decorative enough that he didn't put it just in the bedroom but on the divider between the kitchen and living room. It's one baby step for him! As for the highlights of these little warmers, I'm delighted over finding one with silicone, or whatever the material is, instead of glass that you have to heat up before you can get the wax out and the glass always gets scratched somehow even though I use a tissue (not a paper towel) to wipe it out. So the fact that you can just pop out the wax is a huge bonus. My old wax warmers had an incandescent bulb with metal carved out so it left shadows of dragonflies all over my walls which was super pretty. This one doesn't do that but with the variety of colors to choose from, you can make it match pretty much any color scheme in your room or choose to have it slowly go from one color to the next. As for brightness, I'd say it would do for a night light that is subtle enough that it won't be shining in your eyes due to the filigree breaking up the light. It'll be enough for you to navigate through a dark room if you know your way around the house. Noise level, there is no noise. I'm checking off boxes that Amazon wants addressed here! No leakage (would you expect any? I can't speak to durability since I'm a widow and my kid is 32 so no wear and tear around my home but, compared to my old warmer, I don't have to worry about my cleaning rag getting caught on any pieces so it's easy to wipe clean. I'm just really happy that I found sea turtles for my best friend's husband so he can start doing things that please him. It's hard to do after so many years of marriage. This was the video he sent me today after his wax that I bought finally arrived. Oh, I would prefer a solid base instead of the metal balls on the bottom but that's just me and my preference for things being super basic!

I love this wax warmer! The elk scene is lovely and I appreciate the silicone tray that is not at all hot so I can lift off with bare hands if the scent is too strong but I want to keep the light on. (scent is strong with both varieties I use) It would actually be nice if there were two trays so I could switch between scents! It is lightweight so not a good item if the place you leave it has any wind or is not stable. I have not figured out how to use timer or auto shut off so I manually turn it on/off. I would buy a second one if it was less expensive. Price is a little high.

I absolutely love this product. all the different colors are so vivid. It is beautiful. It melts wax perfectly. I also appreciate the timer feature it has. Best of all was the cost. I couldn't believe how good the quality was for the cost.

This thing not only works really well but lights up with different colors and looks super cool! I absolutely love it and want more for every room! I’d strongly suggest getting one for yourself

I do love this wax melt pot. You can set it on 2–4 or 8 hours I think.(they don’t even tell you how to do it in the instructions though!) different settings will make colors change or not in different ways. It does come with a separate little silicone cup, so it is easy to remove the wax. The only complaint and the only reason it’s not five stars is that, it takes a long time for it to heat up, and the silicone cup is quite small. I got this one because it has automatic shut off, is made of metal (cat jumped up in a running fit & broke my ceramic one & splashed wax on the wall and everywhere) I love this one, but this time I used alien tape to secure it down and place. That would not breakable I didn’t enjoy scraping wax off the wall and floor. L O L. Like I said it’s really pretty when it’s changing the lights they’re bright and vibrant, the auto off is such a great idea because you always had to remember to shut it off when you leave or go to bed. This way you know it’s going off by itself. I just wish the wax pot was larger, but because the silicone has to be smaller than the metal circle in order to come out it makes it even smaller than I expected. Otherwise it’s super pretty. Word of advice for manufacturer: just because an item is made in another country doesn’t mean you cannot hire someone that understands language better in your user manuals! When reading the manual, it never mentions auto off just the light settings, and the buttons are not labeled! I had to mess around with it because I knew the reason I bought it was because of the auto off, I had to go back online to see if the ad actually said that or not because the manual does not mention it at all! Anyone else tired of a certain country not being able to offer better instructions? If you want a job, go to all these foreign companies and offered to write their user manuals correctly so we can understand them, and give enough information to use their products! That said this little item would make a very pretty gift for someone, even a teenager to use their room because it has the auto off makes it much safer! Plus, the cord is generous enough, not very short, like most things these days! I would recommend and also buy again!

Took a while for it to arrive but I’m so happy with this wax melter. The silicone insert makes it incredibly easy to change out the wax. I will probably get a second one for my living room.
