These BRITA MAXTRA PRO Pure Performance Filters are a reliable choice for daily use. The taste of the water is good, making a noticeable improvement over tap water. The filter operates relatively quickly, so waiting for water isn't an issue. I typically keep a single filter for 2 to 3 weeks before needing a replacement. I performed a separate water test and confirmed that the filters remove contaminants well. The only slight observation is that the filtered water remains a little on the hard side (still high in minerals), but overall, they are good in principle and serve their main purpose perfectly.
