No Connection Issues + Works with ISTA
Great quality cord. I’ve had no issues connecting to ISTA+. Persons having issues with a laptop must not be making the necessary adjustments to their ethernet settings.

Read if you’re having connection issues
If you’ve tried everything possible to make it work and had no luck: Disconnect the negative terminal of your car’s battery for about 20 seconds and reconnect. Turns out the modules can enter a locked/glitched state if you switch OBD scanners or your car experiences a voltage dip. This renders the car unable to respond to scanner requests. A quick battery reset fixes this.

Works really well.
I have yet to use it with my phone but hard wired into the pc it worked just fine. I haven't tested the adapter but what I did use worked great.

BROKEN ON ARRIVAL
The actual OBDII => Ethernet cable worked fine, however, the cheap Ethernet => USB-C adapter had faulty pins and wouldn’t connect. Fine if you only need the one cord, but the whole point of ordering this was to connect my OBDII to my phone and now I can’t. Don’t waste your time or money just get a better one. I’ll be returning mine.

Worked perfectly.
I was able to code my BMW iDrive to full screen Apple Car play. Very easy for this 67 year old Granny to do. Downloaded the code, used my MacBook Pro and connected the ENET cable under the dash and BAM it’s done.

Worth every penny
Be sure to put your phone in airplane mode, no Bluetooth and enable Ethernet tethering! Worked like a charm. Literally 10,000x faster than the Bluetooth adapter.

BimmerCode works well
Works well with BimmerCode. the adapter was just a little too “snug” or tight to my OBD input in my car. So just put it on, but dont shove it on, or youll have a hard time slipping it off. Overall works great for coding my car
