Never going back to another detergent!
I LOVE this stuff!! We are expecting in June and are trying new ways to reduce waste and save money. I have done about 20 loads already and every load has come out squeaky clean. I bought a glass mason jar with a metal dispenser and use that to dispense the detergent. I measured a shot glass and use that to measure the loads. I use .5 oz for a regular load and 1 oz for a stinky or large load. This stuff is going to last for a long time, a little goes a long way. I have washed my dogs blankets, bathroom rugs, my fiancé's work out clothes, and even a small soiled rug. It all comes out feeling soft and clean. I don't really notice a scent. I am telling all my family and friends about this stuff, definetly worth the money!(PS I have a front loading HE washer machine)

My go-to laundry soap for 8+ years
I have been using Tangie laundry soap for over 8 years now. Great price point, zero waste, no strong scents, works great on cloth diapers and supports a small business which I always love.

a great product, eco-friendly, no fragrances
Love this product, I have been using it for years. I typically only mix one quart at a time for freshness. Highly recommend this. It's very easy to use and one bar lasts a long time :)

Great for the environment, not very effective.
Works great for washing laundry that doesn’t look dirty, which is often just fine. If you need something that gets out stains and bad smells, this is not what you need. I love the size and the fact that there is zero plastic. For those reasons, I’m fine using it for clothes that don’t get dirty.

OK but don’t recommend
I’ve used this product now for about 6-7 months. At first I loved it because it was so environmentally friendly and non-toxic, etc. The value is good, and I love that there’s no added fragrance and the natural scent it has is pleasant. I love the idea of this laundry detergent. But now that we’ve used it regularly for the past several months, I’ve definitely noticed our clothes have become very dull in color. This doesn’t work on whites at all. White socks? Forget it. I’ve also noticed that clothes just aren’t as soft anymore after coming out of the washer/dryer. We’ve tried really hard to ditch and switch to non-toxic as much as possible, so I’m not relying on fabric softeners, bleach, brightening detergents etc so I get that it comes with a little compromise. But the thing that actually just broke me to write this review was the last load of laundry I did. I’ve noticed that stains have just been building up over time on certain clothes instead of actually getting rid of them. I’m just tired of washing clothes and minimal food stains not coming out or just getting worse over time. I know the company makes a soap bar that I can use to spot treat and I haven’t used it yet but honestly at this point, it would be like every single article of clothing I would be spot treating before wash and who has the time for that. I really truly love the idea of this laundry soap but it’s a no for our family. I’m going to have to keep searching for other non-toxic, env friendly products out there.

I love the mild smell, amazing clean & no plastic bottle
First off, it leaves your clothes smelling like nothing. No, it doesn't smell like Tide or Gain....THANK GOODNESS! I personally dislike synthetic smelling anything. I'm not allergic or have sensitive skin, I just don't like using "fake" products. I will literally use my plastic laundry detergent bottle for years & years to come. HUGE PLUS FOR ME!I have a 75 lbs bulldog that is stinky as heck (bless her heart). I wash her blankies & towels in this and they come smelling like NOTHING! It gets rid of that icky yeasty wet dog licking their paw all day smell. My clothes feel clean. I don't know how to explain it exactly. There isn't any residue feeling left. I think it's an amazing product. I highly recommend it. They have a life-long customer right here. I also LOVE their shampoo & conditioner bars.

I want to love this
Alright, guys. I was super duper excited to try this. A soap with good reviews that would go a long way and be good for the environment? Count me in!At the same time, I switched to a more natural aluminum free deodorant and a new skin cream. Everything seemed great. The laundry scent was okay. Not great, not bad. Everything appeared to be getting relatively clean. A month into the switch and I’m pretty pleased. The whites aren’t as white, but it’s a small sacrifice - right? Then last week I get an odd whiff. I realize it’s me. My armpits are super gross. My pits themselves smell fine. But my shirt does not. Maybe it’s the new deodorant? I sniff all the armpits of my newly cleaned shirts and bras. They all smell pretty obnoxious. I’m not a heavy sweater, but something is definitely wrong. So I toss all of them, even the clean ones, into the wash again. They still stink. I use the handy stain remover sample that was included in my shipment on each armpit and wash *again*. Still stinks. I take some bar soap and laboriously scrub at each shirt and wash again. The funk is IN THERE. I start to feel like I’m going crazy. I wonder if I’m going to have to throw out every shirt I own. All of my clothes seem dingy and smelly. My husband brings home a tub of gain. One wash and they’re all clean. Gain did what four to five washings of this stuff couldn’t do. So as much as I want to believe in this product, I just can’t. I followed the directions. I tried small amounts. I tried 5x the amounts. I double rinsed. It just doesn’t keep up with my family.

Excellent, enviro friendly stuff!
This cleans as well as any of the enviro products out there, and the fact it’s totally free of plastic packaging AND the weight (and carbon) involved in shipping makes the deal. We sweat a lot in various exercise endeavors, and I can get truly filthy working on horses; I just add an Oxy Clean type powder (that I can get in bulk from local shop) to those loads and I have had no problems at all. I think it actually cleans better than the Costco earth-friendly product. I either line dry if weather permits or use wool balls in dryer with a drop or two of essential oil and have not had the stank that makes me toss otherwise fine clothes.
