Panda Touch, Compatible with Bambu-lab P1S/P1P/X1C/A1/A1 Mini 3D Printers, Touch Screen Upgrade Kit, Support AMS and Multi-Printers Management, Please Check Firmware Compatibility First

this is a great upgrade for my p1s 3d printer much better than the small display it comes with and it's so ez to install

I was looking forward to installing the Panda Touch to my P1s, if only I had known ! I was delayed in installing the Panda touch and I am outside of the return window or it would have been straight back ! I wanted to touch for the larger screen, lets be honest that is why all P1s owners like it so much, its clear, Offers many functionals and it looks good to. But here is the catch. My Panda touch came with firmware that was out of date, 1.02, the current firmware is 1.7.3 so you have to go to BTT's GIT HUB page to download the updated firmware, 2 files are required. Go to your Panda touch screen and get your Panda IP address. Enter your Panda touch IP into your browser and then you need to use the BTT screen to update your firmware ect. However when I tried this all I kept getting page unknown and could not progress any further. So no updates are able to be done. OK, point 2, the older firmware does not allow you to enter a activation 'code' that you get from Bambu lab when you log into your account. So you cannot link with your account for Bamboo cloud. Now because you have tried this, every time you open Bamboo Studio you will have to enter a verification code, which you did not have to do before. and I mean every time with every print ! As soon as I removed the Panda touch from my P1s this stopped happening, Phew! point 3. The instructions for installing and operating the Panda touch, even on their Wiki are many but absolutely awful and omit some really important steps for the set up and the install. point 4. Customer service is non existent at BTT, they do not respond so don't expect any support. point 5, Bamboo's last update removed some functionality from the Panda Touch, while this is not BTT's fault. The accumulation of the issues above means that My Panda touch is nothing more than the most expensive light switch I have ever bought. So there you have it, that is my experience with the Panda Touch, maybe they will sort some of the above out in the future but until then I am done with BTT and the Panda Touch.

I tried the touchscreen version and I was skeptical about it initially - menu speed, compatibility, reliability. Frankly amazed that after over 6 months it's one of my most used 3D printing tools. I keep it outside my print room, plugged in with a USB hub and it means I can swap filament on the AMS and then leave the smelly print room so I can choose the filament type and colour on the Panda Touch whilst breathing clean air. Using on a P1S atm, might add my other Bambu printers to it too. The only thing I'd say it's missing is a video feed from the printers' camera.

bought for the P1S but half the features didn't work. It seems Bambu labs is locking its firmware down. I didn't fancy downgrading the firmware

Had to return because it kept crashing and freezing. Downloading the latest firmware seems a pain in the backside. Read online that Bambu latest software update reduces the use of this item. So returned item.

Such an great addition to my bambu labs printers. Able to control which filament and colours I’m using on my ams units with the panda touch, such a easy process. Easy to select which printer I want to use and controls are nice and easy to use. Really easy to set up out the box and took about 5 mins to have it up and running. Great value for the money and would recommend getting one of you are looking at getting one.

Very impressive but the WiFi module in it is awful I could be standing right next to the WiFi box and it says one bar of signal, because of that it means I can only use it where the WiFi box is which is not where the printer is I will get a WiFi booster but it’s not the point I shouldn’t have too as I don’t need to with my phone laptop of even the printer so because of this I give it 3 stars

This is glitchy not worth the money

Complete parfaitement la P1S avec deux AMS. Parfait et fiable. En ce qui concerne les mises a jour de l’imprimante P1S; ne pas upgrader au delà version 01.08.01.00 sous peine de rendre le Panda touch non fonctionnel (en grande partie). Si cela vous arrive il suffit de downgrader l’imprimante vers la version citée plus haut a partir de l’application Bambu Handy (portable ios ou android); car l’appli PC ne le permet pas. Fonction séchage filament tres pratique. Peut gérer plusieurs imprimantes; la vitesse d’impression; les ventilateurs.

Ci vuole un po’ per installarlo ma assolutamente ben fatto👍🏻 comunque per l’installazione basta navigare in rete vedere in qualche video e il gioco è fatto

Ich hatte mich mega auf das Panda Touch gefreut endlich ein Display für mein p1s und gleichzeitig eine Fernsteuerung für mein h2d und mein X1 aber... Zum einen muss man seine Drucker Firmware beim X1 und p1s downgraden damit man die Drucker mit dem Panda Touch nutzen kann. Das liegt daran das die Firmware des Panda Touch die aktuelle Firmware der Drucker nicht unterstützt. Mein X1c hatte der Panda leider gar nicht erst erkannt da hat kein downgraden und auf Werk zurücksetzen gebracht. Aber im Netz scheinen die meisten ihren X1c damit zum laufen gebracht zu haben, weshalb es wohl an mir oder meinen Drucker liegt das es nicht funzt oder halt am Panda selbst stimmt etwas nicht. Mit mein P1s lief der Panda nach einem downgrad der Firmware des Druckers ohne Probleme. Aber mein H2D kann ich damit gar nicht steuern. Er wird zwar erkannt aber bis auf die Sensoren auslesen und das Licht fast auszumachen (nur eine Lampe von 2 geht aus) ist damit nichts möglich. Auch beim AMS 2 oder HT schaut man in die röhre. Alles im allen ist es nur ein überteuertes Display Upgrade ohne großen nutzen. Der p1s läuft damit befriedigend aber wenn ich nicht die neuste Firmware des Druckers nutzen kann ist das halt auch nicht so toll. Achja selbst mit dem Panda Netzteil was ja auch nochmal 50euro gekostet hat gibt es viele Software Probleme weshalb es nicht mal dadurch einen Mehrwert hätte. Ich bin also extrem enttäuscht.

Purtroppo ho dovuto inviare indietro, installazione abbastanza semplice, ma non funziona con la P1S… mandando in blocco la stampante tutto il tempo… la Mia stampante ha poco più di un mese, e il suggerimento era di fare il downgrade del firmware della stampante… purtroppo non sono d’accordo, se è su mercato allora dovrei avere assistenza per far funzionare l’accessorio che ho acquistato e non il pezzo principale…. Purtroppo come consumatore lo penso così! Ho provato per alcuni giorni e niente, ogni volta che spengo la stampante torna il problema… macchina in blocco, fino a che non stacco il display… provato su cloud, connessione direta… niente! Bella idea ma poco utile se non funziona. Mi è dispiaciuto tanto mandarlo indietro con la sua simpatica papera, principalmente perché il display della p1s è poco user friendly e come mia sposa usa la macchina volevo farle una cosa gradita installando un schermo per vedere cosa stampare, senza dover ogni volta aprire il telefono o il computer…
