About our Boot Chains: * Boot chains, or boot harness straps, have their origin in the Old West; they are a decorative, ornamental version of the traditional spur straps worn by working cowhands. They really "spruce up" a pair of plain boots. * Dangerous Threads has been manufacturing their famous specialty boot chains for over 25 years. Handcrafted in Nashville, Tennessee from Genuine 5-ounce Topgrain leather (not "bonded" leather or cheap substitute), all pieces are precision die-cut and assembled with permanent steel rivets. Made from the same leather you would find in a heavy duty hiking boot; will withstand a soaking in bad weather without "cracking" or falling apart, will last for years. * The boot chain wraps around the front of the boot, backstrap attaches with steel buckle and loop (like a small belt), and is secured with a 2.5 millimeter unbreakable steel curb chain and clip that runs under the boot. Carefully constructed with superior findings and sturdy metal parts, they are 100% guaranteed against any defect in workmanship or materials. * Sizing: One size fits all; styles designated "Ladies" are about 1" shorter than the mens, but most styles fit any boot. For large boots, (mens size 10 and up), you may need an Extra-Long underchain, gladly furnished upon request. * Sold in pairs as shown; you are bidding on a pair of bootchains, two pieces, not just one piece. Beautiful Craftmanship
Boot chains are of the highest quality leather and very well made. I had a pair previously and was heart broken when they were stolen so imagine my glee when this new pair were exactly like the ones I’d lost and are pretty perfect.

Really Nice
Not bad, they are a bit bulkier than I thought they were going to be, plus the picture looks like silver bullets and they came in brass, that's no big deal though I think it gives it better look using actual bulletsThe chain and clips could be a bit thicker, I am concerned that these might break since they are stretched to max to try and get around my motorcycle boot.

They are awesome!!!!! I love them!!!!All very good quality leather and metal. They look so awesome!!!! They are my first pair of boot chains, always looked at ones out there but just never got any....until I saw these!! I just had to have them, studs AND bullets? how awesome is that?! They are on my new boots I got as a Christmas gift for myself and OMG did I say they look AWESOME?!!Needless to say I'm a very happy customer!

Worth every dollar, very attractive
Fabulous harness, lots of compliments, fits perfectly with slight adjustment to under-boot chain. Excellent hardware, decoration, leather.

All around great buy!!
I lost one of the straps off my $300 Diesel boots shorty after buying them (I wasn't thrilled.) I would have been more mad but these actually look better than the ones that they came with, and now they are one of a kind!! Very good quality at a very reasonable price!! Super fast shipping.
