Great Mini-Lessons
There are some great mini-lessons in here! I bought this thinking it would be more like a curriculum, but it is more of a supplement to a curriculum. Either way, there are great lessons in here. If you use it the way it's designed, make sure you have an empty notebook handy for the project!

This is so important
I homeschool my kids, and I got this for my 6/7th grader. He's really interested in science stuff, so I try to switch it up and make sure he's having fun and is interested in what he is doing. He was excited to see that I got this book for him and he likes doing this every few days. He's learned a lot from this, and always surprises me with different facts and pieces of information from it. I feel like this book goes a little more in depth than what I learned in school about rocks and such. And they put it in a way that helps students retain the information they read about.

Not really a work books.
I got this to go with mynkids Science for the year. Honestly. It's not really a workbook. It is to be used to make a study notebooks, and the directions can be confusing on some of the pages. We are using it and it us helping but I don't feel like it was what we were hoping it would be.
