What is the strainer made of?

I got the white one and it arrived with a 100% plastic strainer and lid. I don't mind the lid but the mesh being plastic? No thanks. Thankfully I have other strainers from another manufacturer.

Can a replacement lid and strainer be purchased?

Yes.. you buy a separate strainer

Does the lid snap on the strainer, or just rest on it?

The lid rests on top of the glass.

Can this product be used in the microwave?

My wife uses it and says that it’s ok for the microwave.
