This was a great purchase. Anyone with hip knee or shoulder surgery would benefit from this package. Two sizes of grabbers meant i could reach things either standing or sitting. The other items were very handy too as getting dressed "by myself" was far less complicated and boosted my self esteem as well. This package includes everything, a sock device e, clothing stick, long shoe horn, grabbers, a sponge stick for shower and a device for assisting with moving your leg while getting in and out of bed. We'll made items and worth every penny. Highly recommend. And if you purchase before your surgery, you can practice using them, even though its not real tricky.

Wow! These tools have been amazingly helpful in my recovery from hip replacement surgery. The grabbers are absolutely remarkable. They pick up any object, no matter how small, on the first try. I just tested their limits, and I picked up a sewing needle and then a dime from both a carpet and the bare floor on the first try. (Apparently, there are a lot of poor-quality grabbers out there. Not these!) The leg-lifter is top-quality and has been essential in helping me get into and out of the car, my bed, etc. In the photo, it looks like it's just a floppy loop of webbing, but it is actually stiffened with strong wire and is very easy to use and effective. The clothing hook is super-useful when I'm dressing. I'm in sandals, so I haven't used the sock thing or the shoe horn yet. But the bath sponge on a stick is helpful for reaching my feet in the shower, since I'm not able to bend much yet. I'm so glad I made this purchase!

Love that there are 2 Reachers, shorter one used most but longer one used to help me dress and reach things higher/farther away. Everything has a logical use. My only complaint is the "wire" used in the leg lifter, it hurts if I use it on my barefoot, & twists when trying to use it other ways but invaluable when trying to put my shoe on left foot, hold my foot & shoe correctly so I can use my long shoe spoon to eventually get my shoe on easier than ever before. Good quality, useful after extensive knee surgeries. Good value for the price. Do recommend.

I had knee replacement surgery in September. I really didn’t know what to expect but I bought this kit after the surgeon’s office recommended I have one. They didn’t recommend this particular one (they did not specify any specific brand) but it had such high reviews that I thought it would be a good choice. Truth be told I really didn’t think I’d use a good deal of it but it’s better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Right from the start I found the grabbers to be super useful. They’ve got a good grip so they rarely dropped items. I found them very useful for grabbing my pants and bunching the leg up to slide them on as well as grabbing my shoe and angling it so I could slip my foot in easier. I know it came with a dressing stick and shoe horn but I really preferred the grabbers instead. I used the shoe horn twice but it really didn’t help as much as the grabber for me (I was able to angle the shoe as well as hold the back so I could slip my foot in without crushing the back). I didn’t use the dressing stick really at all. Aside from the two handy grabbers, I got a lot of use out of the leg mover. I really thought that out of all of the items I would use that one the least if at all. Boy was I wrong! About 2 days post surgery my quad absolutely quit on me. It was very bruised and strained by the surgery (a result of the tourniquet I’m told) and it just got to the point where it couldn’t move well. The leg mover really helped with that. I also had a lot of pain in my knee trying to get up off of the bed and the leg mover supported the knee when I swung it off of the bed to lessen the pain. The quality seems very good and sturdy. I’ve moved past needing the leg mover but I’m still using the longer grabber. I have a second knee replacement in my near future and am confident that this set will hold up to use a second time. I highly recommend this set for anyone having a knee replacement surgery.
