Alpha Hunter Select Fixed Blade Hunting Knife with 420HC Steel

As always another quality blade from buck knives

I love smaller fixed blade knives for hunting and this is one of the best. I compare it with the benchmade I have and it is on par with it. I used it twice since I've gotten it and the blade it still sharp.

I was immediately impressed by the quality of this knife. The sheet is actually a really good weight and the knife is a high-quality. I really like it.

Like all Buck knives, sharp, well balanced, fits my hand well. Buy it you'll like it.

This is a standard, well made Buck knife. Decent build quality, and comes factory with a sharp edge. The size is appropriate for small game and fish. It feels comfortable in the hand with multiple grips. There is nothing wrong or great about this knife. I do like the feature of the bright orange handle, as that makes it easy to see when put down in the leaves or the grass. I've lost and almost lost knives with neutral colored handles in the woods while hunting. My big complain with this knife is the sheath. It is cheap, poorly constructed with mediocre stitching, and perhaps the worst sin of all, bulky. This is a slim knife, and should include a slim sheath.

The handle is a little small for my hands, and I'm not a fan of the sheath, but it's usable. I think I still prefer the Buck 685 actually, at least for my hands. But yeah, not a bad knife. I think I was just expecting it to be a little nicer for the price, but I realize that's pretty subjective. Thanks.

Knife feels light and balanced. There was some minor things like one of the rivets isn't completely flush with the handle but it's not really enough to detract from the overall quality of the knife. All that being said it's actually impressive to get an American-made knife of this size and quality for the price that it's available at.

I’m a hunter and I love well made American knives and as usual Buck knife does not disappoint. I have multiple Buck knives and love the craftsmanship and reliability that Buck knives always supply. Great AMERICAN MADE PRODUCT .
