Hayden is just as obsessed and behaves as irrational as ever where Calista is concerned, and nothing has changed now that the secret of him being her stalker is out in the open. Calista still finds herself drawn to Hayden, in spite of his secrets and lies. She is conflicted throughout this book as she tries to unpack what exactly Hayden means to her. Especially when the REAL truth comes to light! (no spoilers, read the first book!) The struggle and power exchange between this couple is electric. At times, Hayden even made me so angry with his domineering attitude to control every aspect of Calista's life; from what she wore to what she ate. Including, her bedtime! The "push and pull" reaches erotic heights. Book Two is definitely spicier than the first. Hayden! My, my, my... this man may be a sociopath but the way he loved up on Calista... every woman should be so lucky as to be on the receiving end of his bedside manner of "crazy". What impressed me the most about this book was how well Hayden's character was written. Despite the growing feelings he had for Calista and the times he displayed a modicum of vulnerability, Hayden NEVER BROKE CHARACTER. Not once! Hayden remained the same throughout both books. Too many times in stalker novels, the author feels compelled to show the MMC evolving into this bad-guy-turned-good, finding redemption from his irrational behavior. I am so glad that Bridges left Hayden as is; the possessive, control freak that he has been from the start. Hayden and Calista's chemistry from the start of this duet could not be denied and their unique dynamic gave the ending, and Calista's love for him, with all of his flaws and faults, more credibility. Hayden was correct when he stated that he and Calista are 'inevitable'. While you may or may not agree with the decisions or actions of either character, you cannot deny that the consistency of their behaviors throughout their dysfunctional, albeit tumultuous relationship was credible and brilliantly written. On this alone, this book is very deserving of five stars! A very satisfying HEA and a bonus epilogue is available should you choose to get a peek into their future. This is definitely a book duet that you will eat up in literally two days. I need more from this author! Morgan Bridges is definitely one of the new authors to watch for in the upcoming year! I can't wait to read more of her work! Happy reading! Review: Good Read with a Twist That Left Me Wanting More - Once You’re Mine by Morgan Bridges was a good read, but I have to say—I was way more hooked on the first book. This one had its sweet moments, and the ending was definitely cute, but the twist felt a little rushed. It popped up and then disappeared so quickly that I was left wanting more explanation or buildup. Still, it was enjoyable overall. The romance was solid, and I liked seeing how things wrapped up. Just wish that twist had more time to shine! If you loved the first book, it’s definitely worth reading—just go in with slightly different expectations.

3 ⭐️ for the conclusion of Hayden & Callie
⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I enjoyed reading this book & would recommend. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Great plot/spice balance. This review will probably contain spoilers for Book 1, Once you’re Mine. So if you haven’t already read it, you should probably start there! I really enjoyed Book 1 & I rated it 4.5⭐️! I flew through it because I was pulled right in to Callie & Hayden’s story. With the cliffhanger at the end, I knew I needed to jump right into Book 2. Book 2 was good but I wouldn’t rate it the same way as book 1. I ended the first book with a lot of questions and I feel like I was let down with some of the answers in the second. The whole duet is based around one mystery, the pill. However, I feel that the mystery is revealed and resolved all within a chapter or two. With that aside, I loved Callie & Hayden’s dynamic. Hayden is our typical over-the-top possessive, rich, alpha male who won’t stop at anything to posses Callie. She has a difficult time accepting that she’s in love with me. There’s a lot of push and pull between the two of them & it takes Callie a bit to stop pushing. Harper was easily one of my favorite characters! Her crazy, over the top personality was just what Callie needed. Overall, I do think this book was a bit rushed but I really enjoyed reading the duet as a whole.

emotional, dark, and perfect
I loved this book! I actually enjoyed this one more than book 1. I loved how it really pulled the plot out. I enjoyed watching how things came to light, and the effects it had on their relationship. This book had me laugh, cry, and saying “oh my”. This emotional Dark Romance is book 2 in the possessing her series. This book does have lots of darker themes, checking TWs is a must. This book continues on where book 1 left off and should be read after book 1. The romance in this book is full of tension, and angst due to Calista struggling to forgive Hayden for his betrayal. The book moves at a quick pace following the ups and downs of Calista, and Haydens relationship. During their personal struggles the one responsible for bringing tragedy to both their lives is still out there. They keep trying to find answers. When they think they've got what they've been looking for, more than the culprits secrets will be revealed Hayden has a lot of self growth in this book. He learns some patience, and empathy when it comes to Calista Although Hayden by no means becomes anything else other than what he is. Calista learns about strength. She sets boundaries, and learns to stick to them. Even though Hayden remains a soft spot for her, she does learn to stick up for herself. While this book does still focus on the romance, the plot takes center stages as well. I enjoyed the mystery, and the clean wrap up at the end of the book. It makes the book a easy, and enjoyable read.

If S+@lk•h3r Romance is your vibe
This is book 2 of the Posse$$ing her duet and it was just as good if not better than the first one!! 🚨 if you haven’t read the first book Once your m!ne you NEED to read that one first this is a duet and it will not make sense to you as a reader without first knowing the start of it all.🚨 ✨Dark Romance ✨S+@|k•h3r Romance ✨T0uch her & ☠️ ✨M@rking ✨K!d•N@pp!ng (just a small bit) ✨M3d!c@ti0n Tampering ✨SPICY 🚨 Make sure you read your TWs 🚨 Okay so in “Now your mine” you start off where Morgan Bridges left us cliff div!ng in book one.. when Callie is demanding answers from Holden about the pearls and their significance.. From the first chapter Holden had me laughing/chuckling with his thought process and how he handled certain situations.. The man really didn’t get personal sp@ce or giving her time to think things over (I found his antics hilarious) In book 2 Morgan gives us the full picture, she answers question that were left open in book one all while still telling a story that kept me as a reader on my toes!! I needed to know not only how Holden was going to justify all he had done and continues to do but I also needed to know how the heck was she going to stay with him once she learned the truth… if you know you know and let me tell you I was shook on how Holden was able to pull all that off (but in a good way of course) 🤭 Book two definitely had a lot more details and grit on the storyline and I was here for it because the SPICE let me tell you the Spicy scenes were definitely spicy and well detailed!! Overall, I would say that this book was definitely worth the read and I loved Holden and all his s+@lk•h3rr ways!! He was definitely a join to read about… they both were really!! Happy Reading babes

Spice is great, but plot is lacking
I LOVED the first book, Once You’re Mine. I did like this sequel but I definitely felt like the plot was lacking, to the point where it was distracting. I know dark romances aren’t supposed to be necessarily realistic but it kind of threw me off. Calista’s (and even Harper’s) reactions to certain things was just so minimized and unbelievable. Important details and revelations were glazed over, and I think opportunities were missed to better explain or justify things. And how Calista reacts to things and acts, was honestly giving teenager vibes which was throwing me off. Overall, it is still a good read, especially the first 2 thirds of the book. I just felt that the last bit felt kind of rushed. I would say this is a good read for someone who values the smut factor more and doesn’t care so much about a good/believable plot. Of course, I love the spice myself, but a bad plot is distracting for me and can pull me out of it (not saying this plot is bad, just not great). *MINOR SPOILER* Calista wakes up and finds Hayden’s name tattooed on her and her reaction is, no joke, “ugh that’s annoying but whatever.” Like it is literally never talked about. And Calista has next to no reaction when she finds out that Hayden killed her dad. She literally carries on conversation and just tells him that she needs time. I don’t think I even remember her crying. And when she tells Harper about it, Harper’s reaction is literally “omg what are you going to do; classes start in 2 days.” Like what kind of reaction is that?? And some elements of the story were completely unnecessary and just added for drama and ended up being distracting but it didn’t make sense. Like how tf did he manage to tattoo her in her sleep? I know she was on paid meds from her fall but there is no legal pain med that will keep you knocked out through an entire tattoo. Did he drug her?? Oh the irony if he did! Who knows, it’s never talked about. And why did him tampering with her birth control have to be added in? That whole part could have been left out and she could’ve just gotten pregnant normally. All I can think about is she’s inevitable going to find out that he did that and all the drama they went through in this book is just going to repeat itself. And then the whole story is about this mysterious evil person who’s connected to Calista, her father, Hayden, and his mother and it’s this huge build up all leading to the man kidnapping Calista. And then Hayden kills him within like 10 minutes. Like that was the entire climax and it was over in 5 pages!
