Great quality. All you need to start adding heated insets to your 3d prints just add a soldering iron

Fixes 3d printed parts together
Bought for assembling 3d printed parts Great little kit with the fitting for a small soldering iron. Works great as long as you get 2 things correct. #1 Correct size hole #2 Correct temp or soldering iron Using on PLA set the iron temp to about 230 degrees and gently press in

I've been missing out
Never really used heat inserts for any of my 3D prints but I'm glad I've decided to because I've well and truly been missing out on these, overall can be tricky in some aspects of inserting (without a press) so I ended up modelling and 3D printing a heat insert press and now it cannot go wrong really, super satisfying watching these slowly sink into place. Would recommend for anybody into 3D printing

Handy for 3D printing
We use these professionally to put threads into 3D prints for making prototypes and even small scale manufacturing. They are great for experimenting because we can get them quickly and in relatively small numbers. No issues with them. They are completely fit for purpose.

Great M3 threaded studs. Supplied with soldering iron bit
These M3 threaded studs work great. The supplied soldering iron adaptor makes them easy to drive in various materials - I've used without issues on 3D printed PLA and PETG.

Once you get used to the craft of installing these, they're fantastic. I recommend picking up a press to insert them (of any brand) squarely.

Good price and works great. I just used a regular soldering iron to insert them in my 3D designs.
