Power, Longevity, and Reliability in One Kit!
If you own any DEWALT 20V tools, this starter kit is a no-brainer. The two 5.0Ah batteries pack a serious punch — they charge quickly and last an impressively long time, even under heavy use. I’ve run my impact driver, circular saw, and even a leaf blower on these, and I’m always amazed at how much work I can get done before needing to swap batteries. The charger is fast and dependable, with clear indicators, and I like that DEWALT’s lithium-ion tech holds a charge for months when stored. These aren’t just backup batteries; they’re workhorses. The build quality is solid, exactly what you’d expect from DEWALT — rugged, durable, and built to handle jobsite abuse. If you’re starting your DEWALT 20V collection or just need extra runtime, this kit is worth every penny. My only regret? Not grabbing it sooner. Highly recommended!

Genuine Product & working great
I rate this item as a 5.. the products that were shipped: 2-genuine DeWalt 20v Max-lithium rechargeable batteries and a new DeWalt Charger & they were absolutely new; The package had not been opened and we're all in the same factory box...Not as some have reported; also both of the batteries were factory charged on the batteries to level one on their indicators - I then used the new charger included to complete charging the two batteries -which took about 20 minutes each to reach full charge- I then tested the batteries in my DeWalt 20v max XR tools and they work fine and hold their charge..The only thing I encountered was with Amazon losing the order in shipment somehere and it was not the Vendors fault but all arrived about a week later - all is good now. Please see the attached photos that verify what I have stated.

DeWalt Never Dissappoints
Great value for the money. The battery quality is great. The size is perfect. I would recommend these batteries to anyone who needs a battery pack for their DeWalt tools or any other power tools that this will work with.

Great battery life. Lock get very loose on impactor over time
Battery life is excellent. Fast charging is very quick. I use on a 1/2" dewalt impactor and as time passes, the lock holding the battery in place is not as firm, possibly due to the vibration

Great batteries, last forever. Don't buy the no name "Dewalt" 20V or you will be sorry (like me)
Friends don't let friends buy cheap lithium ion batteries. I know Dewalt batteries are not exactly inexpensive, but I went the route of buying some no name "Dewalt" batteries. Never again. They both failed pronto ... showing a full charge. Do I think Dewalt branded batteries are over priced - yes, but they work reliably, last forever and are safe. That is the other thing. Lithium ion batteries are a fire hazard if not handled correctly (don't drop, don't freeze) and I just don't have the confidence cheap batteries are manufactured to the same standards. The two Dewalt batteries I am replacing these two with worked reliably for years of regular use ... held a full charge and just worked. I replaced them because I had them on a shelf that gave way and they dropped six feet or so onto the concrete garage floor. Looked fine, but I'm not risking my home and life on a potentially damaged lithium ion battery.
