Faulty RAM and Service Center is not helping
TL;DR: No proper customer service in India from Silicon Power. Avoid and consider other brands like Crucial, Kingston, or Samsung.Twelve days after buying this RAM, it started crashing my PC. Upon contacting Silicon Power, I learned that they don't have a proper service center in India, instead relying on a third-party system. I sent the RAM back for inspection, only to find out it was indeed faulty. It's been over a week now, and all I get from them is the same frustrating response: "You'll receive an email when the replacement arrives." They've warned it might take a month or more. This has left me in a bind, unable to take on new video editing projects since 16GB of RAM is insufficient for my work. My ongoing projects are suffering due to the lag. Their service is disappointing, and they insist that I wait indefinitely for a replacement. I strongly advise against buying their products. Consider better alternatives like Crucial, Kingston, or Samsung.
