CT Sounds Hydro 12” Dual 4-Ohm 1000-Watt Shallow Mount Car Subwoofer

This is one of the best built subwoofers I've seen. It gives my Sequoia the boom it deserved after the old jbl just died. Luckily it wired up easy offers smooth bass on most actives. It looks great and sounds great.

Great build quality and sound for a shallow mount 10in. I’m sure this thing really has a lot of potential in the right box but I had to use a 0.47cu ft box since I installed this in a Kenworth dump truck with very little room. I listen to it pounding all day 10-12hrs a day powered by a ct sounds 400.1d compact amp with no issues. Will definitely buy agin for future projects. Update: I had this thing bumping 60+hrs a week for over a year and it never missed a beat! I recently upgraded and sold this subwoofer to my buddy and he put it in a larger box and it sounds even better than the small boxes I had it stuck in. I’ve been very impressed with ct sounds and will continue to purchase in the future. I have a 12in ported sundown in my car and this sub doesn’t even come close to that but for everyday use in a truck that had no bass this thing made me for than happy! Highly recommend

Great quality for the price.

Good so far! Wired it parallel to 2 ohms. It's it a shallow box and sounds good, but would definitely sound better in a slightly bigger box. Installed about two weeks ago so we'll see if it lasts! Oh and you may have to open you box hole up some depending on the box as these have slightly bigger frames. I had already opened mine up, just used a jig saw and only had to give it about 1/8th all the way around. I had to get adjust my tuning some because this had a lower sensitivity than my infinity ref1000s

Thought I would try one of these in place of my Skar VD-10. Quality is alright but the VD hits harder, sounded better and takes more power. The CT shallow is decent, but for hits application the Skar VD is a better choice.

Sounds good once broken in

Bought item from this seller and when it was installed the speaker was not working correctly. When returned as a defective item I was only refunded 50% It’s not my fault you sold an item that was defective but yet I’m paying for it. Don’t buy from them!

I recently installed the CT Sounds Hydro 10" Dual 2-Ohm Subwoofer in my Ram 1500, and I'm absolutely blown away by its performance! Sub shipped very fast from ontario to saskatchewan .shipping box was perfect on delivery. Was an excellent option for 2018 ram with alpine sub small trimming of plastic box and it fit right in. Sounds like night and day difference.

Pounds pretty good for a shallow mount 8" sub. Definitely better than the stock 2017 Ram sub. I have made it clap a few times but I'm also using an overpowered amp for it.

Sub was previously opened and installed by another customer. If the sub were to be exposed I would have returned it.
