Great series overall but would recommend for age of 13 upwards would recommend reading in order but could be read as a standalone

omg what an end to the series! Whilst I am very sad that this is the last book in the never after series I also think it is the perfect couple and finale for Emily and I cannot wait to see what she turns her mind to next!Hexed follows Venesa and Enzo and is a fractured retelling of the little mermaid. Set in the mafia world this book had me feeling all the things. The angst and forbidden pining between Venesa and Enzo was perfection and when they finally gave in to the attraction wow did sparks fly!I absolutely loved Venesa, I can’t resist a strong, independent, badass woman and she was that and more! But what I particularly liked about her was her vulnerable side, my heart arched for her and the family trauma she had suffered and the self doubt it had caused. It also made me love Enzo even more because even though he was a strong mafia antihero who was willing to get his hands dirty he also knew when to push Venesa if she needed a confidence boost or protect her when she needed it and ultimately showed her what good love should be!In typical Emily McIntire style it had action and drama and revelations I did not see coming! It also had so many true villains of the story to hate, Jessica and Aria I am looking at you guys. The way Emily is able to weave the original story into this one with all the little hints and nods was just perfect and I really loved getting to see the little mermaid in a totally new darker way!

This is my favourite one of the series. I loved the story, the characters, the reprisentation 🌈Just incredible. Off to find me some chimney cake.

Really enjoyed this book a great series I found this book romantic engaging with lots of drama and twist it was an easy read

Emily Mcintire is a wonderful author. I enjoyed this book from start to finish. It keeps you hooked and to be honest, there isn’t too much spicy moments to put anyone off.

I absolutely loved this, best in the series by a mile. The tension was perfect, the spice was perfect the angst was unreal. Br earned it left me with a sever book hangover for a week. Honestly nothing I could fault

I love Emily Mcintire - her writing is just so rich and powerful I adore her books. I was so excited for this book to be released and was not disappointed in the slightest. So much angst, emotion, love, drama, plot twists it was just a rollercoaster and I devoured it. The FMC is an absolute bad ass, love her and MMC is such a alpha prince it was just perfect ❤️ defo recommend

I read this book via KU but went directly and purchased it as soon as I finished reading , a truly fantastic story , so well written and so emotional, and so so so romantic, Enzo , well what can I say 🥵and Venesa so strong and beautiful, their love for each other just made my heart flutter , and when they finally gave in the spice was amazing , please read this book you will not be disappointed, I know I will be reading it again and again .
