Looks pretty. If you just put it up and leave it alone - excellent choice! But if you have to open it for the candle - feels flimsy and very thin, almost foil like texture. I am keeping it as it priced very reasonable. Tbh, I expected something heavier.

This made a beautiful lantern look and I really enjoy the cozy look it gave to my living room after the holidays. I used two on my fireplace and it looks very pretty. I did not use real candles. The battery operated votive candles were used for safety. And it still looked beautiful.

I absolutely love this lantern! It makes me feel like I want to walk around the house with it at night. I bought it for the symbolism for a Winter Solstice event I had. It’s so very beautiful! I put a battery operated candle in it, one that I already had. Not quite sure if the size but I did have to press it in and it’s in there snug. I’d probably go with a 3”-3.5” diameter, this one might be 4”. It’s truly beautiful and the perfect size for a table top, altar, or simply decoration. I’m going to get another to match.
