Fleetwood Mac (Amazon Exclusive Coke Bottle Clear Vinyl)

Good sound quality vinyl and music is obviously beyond question. Plays very well - as few pops and crackles but that's the deal with vinyl. Arrived in peak condition.

I read with horror all the negative reviews about this pressing with warps and jumps etc. But then I thought maybe I could take a punt as I am trying to get back to a collection of Fleetwood Mac on vinyl. Anyway if it was faulty it could wings itself back to Amazon for a refund. I played it through this morning and it was perfect so I guess I was lucky.

There isn’t a bad track on either side of this LP. I bought it for my daughter and granddaughter because everyone should listen to it.

I have bought this record multiple times from different places and they all skip non stop all the way through all the songs (both sides). Checked them all on two different record players and they skip on both in the exact same way. All my other records work perfectly; it’s just this one that skips like this, which means that I’ve had to return/exchange it multiple times. Thought this one would be different as it is printed differently but it skips in all the exact same places. Not sure what’s going on but I’m just disappointed.

Fast shipping and very well packed by Amazon. Playing the album now and the quality is excellent. The mastering is perfect with plenty of bass and not thin sounding. The clear bottle green vinyl is impressive but like a lot of modern 180 gram releases it does hold a lot of static, my original black wax have little to no static but this one will cling to the mat on my turntable and give a decent zap when changing sides. Still a great buy. 10/10 for me
