Benefits of using this over a standard pint glass?

I literally just wrote an article about this. A mixing glass has a weighted bottom and a cylinder shape so it is easier to stir. With a tapered glass (like a pint glass or shaker tin) you can more easily tip the glass over, so it needs two hands: one to stir, one to steady. With a mixing glass, you can stir one handed. You also have the benefit of the pour spout.

Anyone notice that this has a pink/purple hue in the glass color? Is this normal? It’s not clear.

Mine definitely has a slight pink color. It seems to reflect more color when it’s placed on my granite counter which has brown, gold and pink colors in it.

What are the dimensions of this mixing glass?

Can you microwave liquid in it? Wanting to double this as my milk steamer in morning for coffee.

This is a crystal vessel. I really don't know how it would hold up with hot liquid in it. It really wasn't designed to do that.
