Work perfectly for what I needed. Bought a large box of matches and wore off all the material on the built in strike areas before I was even halfway through the matches. Placed several of these on the top of the box and they work as advertised.

These strips last about the same as what is on the box of typical stick matches. They are somewhat small, but I place more than one on each of the plastic containers I keep them in.

These puppies do the trick!! They work with one strike. I put them on mason jars and keep my matches inside.

The SCRATCH PADS do the job as to the lighting of the wooden matches. But I also noted that they, too, will wear out sooner & I will need more when my Stock of Matches continue to run out.
