This pedal is ingenious. You can use the switch to alternate between using it as a volume pedal and an expression pedal and tune with the toe all the way up. The sweep isn't going to be as good as a full size volume/expression pedal, but it's totally workable given the size and flexibility. The volume function and buffer sound great. It's really easy to setup with physical switches to change between display modes. The tuner works really well. Build quality is solid with aluminum rather than plastic. If you don't abuse it, it should last a long time. I am using this on a Nano board with a Nano Cortex and it's a little long for the board size, but it's still totally workable and perfect for a nice compact setup. Excellent value and functionality all-around.

The pedal does a good job, but the included cable is pretty much unusable. I tried the Hotone 2 with my Fractal FM9 MkII, and it worked flawlessly — I was even able to switch the wah on and off with the extra button. However, the pedal feels kind of cheap, so I ended up selling it.

This expression pedal is just perfect! It's surprisingly sturdy, stable and reliable. I use mine with a Disaster Area Designs MIDI controller unit to control the volume block in my HX Stomp or whatever other EXP duty it needs to serve. It's compact enough to fit into my board but the size and the grippy upper surface feel great under my foot (size 12 shoes). Again, what surprices me most is how sturdy it feels compared to other units in its price range...Like not worries at all while constantly using it to adjust and swell, etc.

Wish it was a bit smoother. The volume level cuts in and out abruptly instead of the smooth level change I have experienced with other volume pedals. Overall, I'm not displeased with it. I'm looking into my noise gate as possibly contributing to the issue. The build is quite good.

First and foremost, this pedal works really well! Solid build, excellent quality, 5 Stars! TLDR: This pedal REQUIRES a TRS CABLE to function properly. The INCLUDED cable (TS cable) DOES NOT allow for full functionality of the pedal, so you'll have to get your own TRS cable to use this pedal! FULL STORY: It took me a LONG time to figure out how to get it to work properly. I thought the pedal was broken, since it was acting strange and did not function properly. I requested a replacement pedal to be sent out to me. The replacement pedal I received did not function properly either, just like the first one. Once I bought a TRS cable and used the new TRS cable instead of the included TS cable, it finally worked!

I originally purchased this pedal back in January, and I used it one time. The pedal is great and does what it says. So in May, I decided to use the pedal again, and the device was dead. New battery or the Power Supply would not wake up the pedal. It was past the return date for Amazon, but I reached out to the seller with my issues. The seller sent me a new pedal to replace the bad one. I really did not expect that kind of customer service, but the seller went above and beyond what I had expected. Customer Service is really what you want when you buy something, and this seller delivered.

Compact and multifunctional expression pedal which works well with Quad Cortex. Light weight, doesn't take much space on pedal board and doesn't need power supply.

Muy buena opción con las dos opciones de wah que no suenan nada mal y un modo volumen que lo hacen muy versátil. Y a un precio económico. A día de hoy no me ha dado ningún problema y hace casi un año que lo compré.

Der Preis hat mich zwar erst abgeschreckt, aber günstigere Produkte haben mich in der Vergangenheit leider mehrfach enttäuscht. Zusammengefasst bin ich mit diesem Kauf rundum zufrieden. Ich habe das Wah und den Wechselmodus Wah/Volume nur kurz ausprobiert, hier macht das Gerät in der Kürze einen sehr guten Job. Da ich ein Cry Baby habe und es vom Setup her so bleiben soll nutze ich nur die Regulierung der Lautstärke des Hotone. Kein Kratzen, keinen Druckverlust unterhalb der 90 % Lautstärke, sondern einfach das Ergebnis, was man haben will. 5 Sterne. Gut finde ich die 4 LED an der linken Seite um den Status anzuzeigen. Bei Volume blau, bei Wah grün, sie erlöschen von 4 zu 3, 2, 1, 0 je nach Pedalstellung. Genau das wollte ich so haben, es nervt mich bspw. beim Cry Baby, dass es keine Betriebsanzeige gibt. Eine Anzeige auf beiden Seiten des Pedals zu haben wäre Luxus, eine feinere Abstufung mit mehr als 4 LED würde auf der Bühne wahrscheinlich auch nichts bringen. 4,8 Sterne. Die Oberfläche ist mit Sandpapier supergriffig. 5 Sterne. Das Pedal ist nicht überfrachtet groß wie die Dunlops, aber für mich Persönlich hätte ich etwas mehr Länge brauchen können und die Achse hätte ich gern weiter hinten positioniert, um besser mit der Fußspitze arbeiten zu können. Aher ich komme klar. 4,5 Sterne. Die Buchsen sind wertig, halten den Kontakt sehr gut. 5 Sterne. Metallgehäuse. 10 Sterne. Man könnte bestimmt noch mehr Einzelpunkte bewerten, aber ich bin kein High End Techniker. Ich habe das bekommen, was ich wollte und das in so guter Qualität, dass ich reinen Gewissens volle 5 Sterne verteilen kann.
