Great value and convenience
No complaints on this dash cam. It turns on with my engine, and shuts off. The video quality is great at 4k.

It does the job..
It works great, I've been using this hardwire kit for a week now and it's been great, now my dash cam only comes on when I turn the ignition on.. luckily my truck had an empty spot where I added this to, so pretty easy for me to install.. using it on a second gen Dodge ram

This is a Micro USB that is compatible with dash cam
I ordered this to replace a dash cam cable that had failed. It worked great and was compatible with my device. If your looking for a replacement this was a good choice. Just make sure you need a Micro USB (smaller) and not the Mini USB.

Seems to be sufficient for the task.
Giving 4 stars because it feels a little wimpier than the og one. I swapped trucks and messed up the original one that came with my FANINSO dashcam. It reaches with room to spare from the center console cigarette lighter of my ‘25 Tacoma around the passenger footwell, up the door frame, along the top of the windshield and through the junction box above the rearview mirror. There are probably 18 inches of cord left over. It provides the power needed and also includes 2 usb (standard/classic style) plugs on the cigarette lighter plug that I didn’t even know were included. Haven’t tested them yet, but a nice addition. My concern is longevity, but that’s only based off of the feel of the plug and the cord. It could last as long as the dashcam. I’ll try to adjust my rating down the road.

Working on a 2020 Buick Encore
I originally bought another kit that was supposed to plug into existing wiring in the rearview mirror, but it turns out that on specific options (auto dimming mirror, etc.). Since that didn't work, I needed a kit that would plug into the fuse box... and this Gebildet kit worked great. For the Encore, you have to pull out the small accessory box by the driver's left knee (pull it down, pinch the back to get past the blocking clips, and then simply lift it out. The fuse box is behind it. You'll need light and to get down below it for access. I chose to use the inline additional fuse on fuse 22 (DC accessory) and grounded on the metal to plastic connector right by the drawer we removed to get here. Running the cable is a bit difficult, you have to pull the side plastic panel off, it can be "pushed" out from the opening to get to the fuse box. There are 4 retaining clips and it's best if it comes basically straight out. You can run the wire up the pillar and across to the mirror above the roof liner. So far the harness is working very well like this and seems well made. It's certainly not dealing with much heat or cold since it's inside the cabin. At this price, and coming with everything I needed it's a great value.

Excellence! IF you're using a dash cam, buy the hardwire kit!
Ever since witnessing a massive 7 vehicle pile-up while on the road on I-40 in Tennessee, I have dash cameras in ALL of my vehicles. Trouble is, dash cams don't come with a hardwire kit like this which means you lose the recording from impacts while parked plus you wind up with wiring that's an eyesore as well as very much "in the way"! This kit has simple to understand instructions. If you can read, you have the ability to learn which fuses have power with the key off and which fuses only have power with the vehicle running, you can install this yourself in about an hour. It's THAT EASY! The quality is excellent, the unit is small enough to easily conceal either inside of your fuse box or behind the bottom of your dash. The one thing they ought to include would be either double sided tape or a few zip ties so you can secure this but both of those items are inexpensive and easy to acquire. I installed one of these in 3 of my vehicles so far and there is NOTHING visible except for the cameras mounted to the windshield and the back windows. Once you determine which circuits (fuses) you need to tap into, run the wiring where it needs to go, use some cheap, easy to use plastic interior panel tools to carefully pop off the trim from your "A" pillars (the pillars of your vehicle alongside of the windshield) and then carefully tuck the wiring up under the front of your headliner to where your camera is attached to the windshield, secure the wiring, reinstall the A pillar trim and plug your camera in. You're done! I recommend EVERYONE buy a good quality dash cam, even better if you go with one that also records out of the back window. Today there are more and more MORONS who aren't watching the road, they're texting and driving, they're driving like idiots! Protect yourself! Buy the biggest memory card your camera will accept, buy a hard wire kit and install it or have it installed and you're good to go! I know I will never have a vehicle without a dash cam again, and I'll always hard wire them in with this hardwire kit.

Works perfect!
This works perfect with our camera. The one that came with the camera broke. This was a much better solution than buying a whole new camera!

Check for clearance in fuse box with lid
The product does as described. Doesn’t work in my Audi because the fuses were inset and the right angle design of the taps made it impossible to fully seat
