Worth the Purchase
So I have a "naughty" cat that goes poop outside her litterbox. After the vet cleared her of any medical issues, I decided to build her a little cat apartment to keep her in when we're not home and at night. It fixed her issues almost right away and I'm 99% sure it's because we live in a smaller apartment and she just really needed "her own space" that her brother (pur other cat) couldn't get in. Fastforward a month, we wanted to renovate the room that the cats boxes are in to make it more of a guest room and we took down her makeshift cat apartment seeing that she was still going in the litterbox (we'd been gone for a week and left the door open for her to go in and out while the cat sitter was here and she continued to use the litterbox). However almost immediately she went outside the litterbox again. I didn't want to give up on trying to convert the other bedroom into a guest room so I figured to get one of these cat tier cages to minimize the space in the room but maximize her space she had in there. Her going outside the litterbox confirmed to me that we needed to keep giving her a space all to herself (she roams around the apartment when we are home). Was nervous about getting these because I didn't have a lot of money to spend and reviews on others kept saying they were flimsy and not worth it. Found this one with the best reviews and cheapest price as well as its large size and it's the best $100 I've ever spent on my cat. It is SO STURDY! no missing parts, it's easy to build (utilize the hammer it comes with! Makes taking it apart and back together much easier) and has a nice appearance to it. It's hard getting the sides together with thise plastic clasps BUT THATS WHAT YOU WANT because you know it's not gonna come apart easily. Its functionality makes it to work as a cat cage, guinee pig pen, bunnies areas or bird cage so it's definitely a multi use pet cage that allows so much room for your pets and allows you to custom build it however you want it. It's also fairly easy to move. Best of all my cat LOVES it--you can tell she feels safe and comfortable at night or when we leave and she even likes to go in it when the door is open. My only "complaint " with it would be I wish it came with more load bearing frames just to ensure that all the tiers are supported no matter which way you built it. My only other "complaint" would be that I don't really trust those platforms for them to jump on, so I've added blankets to help distribute the weight of the cat easier (she's also got sharp claws).

DIY Panels - Adjustable
I know, my panels are all over the place lol but that was the best part of having it being adjustable and to be able to do it the way I wanted. The black panels blocks out the sun when it shines through the blinds. So, it works out for me and also works out perfectly for the cat hammock. The black panels were supposed to be used as a walking platform but I only used a couple of them. I wanted it one panel higher so it’s tall and narrow for my living room. I put one door on the side, at shoulder height and had to buy door latches, it’s actually super convenient. We're able to open it and place her right in the cat hammock, without having to open the full cage door on the front side. The only reason I have zip ties are for my dogs. They easily move the cage with their nose, and not because it’s flimsy, I just didn’t secure it properly like the directions said. I have more to fix but it was for the time being and felt bad my kitten was stuck in my daughter’s room all day and night. We got her from a rescue and she came from a rough background, so I needed her to heal and be in a quiet, safe place to acclimate. She then started meowing so loud in my daughters room that I felt bad and bought this cage in a rush to be able to let her enjoy being a part of the family, safely. This was delivered within 3 days of purchase. I have 4 dogs. And this is our first cat in the family. Overall, the cage has been very sturdy. It came with all parts, non were missing. Door latches (they are only clips) works but if you have dogs, I highly suggest reinforcing it with coiled hook latches like just on Amazon. Can’t really see but if you zoom in on the doors, it’s the silver hooks, they also stretch too. Dogs can possibly get the clips off if they keep chewing or scratching at it. My cat loves it, it’s narrow but I have panels so she can jump up and toys so she can play in it. But of course after I buy this cat enclosure, she ends up getting along with the dogs and now we just leave the door open and she goes in and out as she please to use the litter box. It’s very comfortable, I can even go in it but can’t stand straight while inside. We recommend this, especially to be able to build to your needs. It came with a lot of panels, but wish I could somehow buy just the black panels. You can even make 2 cat enclosures if you wanted to.

it. Project
Took us about three hours from unboxing to adding the cat gear. Most of that was getting started. Once we had a plan for how to arrange the shelves, it went together fairly easily. While I am sure a motivated person with good hand strength could assemble this alone, I wouldn't recommend it. It is very helpful to have a second pair of hands, especially during the first round and ceiling. It looks nice for a giant cage and I hope our cat will find comfort in having a little house to retreat to. Someone complained it is flimsy. It isn't likely to contain a dog, though the zip ties could be used to make it fairly sturdy. We did hang a cat hammock from the upper rail and put 20 lbs on it. The cage held the weight fine. We also installed a robot liter box on the bottom. I like the shelves. We reinforced it well and stress tested it as best we could. I should add that we are grandparents with the years of putting things together that usually entails. YMMV on the difficulty we did not need videos to assemble it.

Nice Cage! Well worth the spend!
Nice cage. Well worth the spend. Very easy to assemble (although the instructions were not very clear or detailed) Can assemble in many different configurations to fit your needs. Is heavy duty and durable. I recommend using the provided cable/zip ties to hold the side panels together for extra security and strength. Make sure the cage is perfectly square before installing the roof panels to make it simple to complete. I also used cable/zip ties to tie the roof panels together for added strength and security. The small door clips provided are hard to use with large hands, I purchased larger clips to make it simple.
