My dad loved the tear away daily Far Side calendars when I was growing up. I knew the calendar would always be an appreciated gift. Dad would often sub our names over the characters in the comics and slip the extra funny ones to us.Now Dad has the beginning stages of dementia. I was so happy when I saw they were reprinting the calendars. Bought him one for Christmas. Dad wasn’t as excited as he was in his prime but that’s to be expected. Hoping that using the calendar will make dad laugh and possibly spark memories of good times.The quality of these Far Side calendars is great, just like they were back in the day. Highly recommend if you enjoy this type of twisted and silly humor. :)

I get these for my dad every Christmas. He always enjoys them and sends me pictures thru the year when he finds a really funny page.

What can I say. I laugh every morning when I flip the page

The jokes are funny, and a great way to start every day. We've had one of these for years except when they stopped making them. We switched to a different one, but none compare to Far Side.

I got this for a White Elephant gift exchange. It arrived on time and seemed to go over well a the event.

I’ve been a fan of Gary Larson’s FarSide calendars and books for many years. The daily calendar starts my day with a laugh.

I absolutely LOVE The Far Side. Face it, in today’s society, we all need something to laugh at. I get a daily chuckle with this calendar.

Of course I can’t review the 2025 calendar because I haven’t used it yet, but I’ve been using the various editions for the past several years. Larson has his own individual (not to say sick) sense of humor. My experience is that many of the. cartoons don’t make me laugh, but when he hits it right it’s weird and funny and wonderful and unlike anything else. You might have a similar experience but it may be a totally different selection of cartoons from the calendars that makes you laugh. If you already know The Far Side you know if it’s for you or not.
